I LOVE this product! I was skeptical at first because I only heard of it from BLUMAAN's youtube channel when I needed tips on how to style my hair-but this is my everyday essential. Texture is really smooth at your finger tips and easy to work into your hair. I use both this and the orange pomade for an all day hold and it still allows flexibility to restyle your hair throughout the day. The scent isn't too strong but has a fresh smell. This product(blue) alone has a lighter hold but combined with the orange pomade--will last you all day moving around and sweating. They also recently updated their packaging, allowing for easier access and cleaner look.

My husband loves the scent and texture. He only wants me to buy this one.

Update 12/12/2016 Got my order of "Original" in direct from Blumaan and it is what I was expecting. White, not buttery, and hold is as expected. See last picture. Shows the latest and greatest direct from Blumaan, the stuff I got via Amazon and then a jar of Smooth (direct from Blumaan) for the heck of it. Color difference is easier to see in person but should be visible in the picture Update 12/2/2016 I've been in contact with Joe (and team) and have a few updates. I am sending this particular jar back via Amazon and have ordered a jar of Original direct from Blumaan as well as a jar of their new "smooth" (hey, why not?). Smooth came in yesterday and is MUCH more like what I'm used to. It's slightly more, well.. smooth, than Original, but overall it's not anything like what I received originally via Amazon. It's much thicker, white and not warm buttery looking/feeling. I'm not sure how but it appears I just got a bad jar somehow. I don't know if it had gotten too hot somewhere in transit or something else, but bottom line, it appears the product has not changed. I just got a bad jar somehow. In the future I will likely just order direct to try to avoid this happening again. I will update again once the new jar of "Original" comes in and also add some pictures comparing all 3 jars. Original Review 11/30/2016: have ordered this product several times since it was first introduced. It was literally the only product I had used since first trying it as I absolutely loved it. It was the only true low shine / high(ish) hold product that I've been able to find and worked great in my hair. That was then... The problem is my most recent order of Original is totally different. It's yellow instead of white, the consistency is like soft butter instead of the much more firm consistency that it had always been previously. The hold is also very much lacking now. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed. I contacted Blumaan via their website and was told that they recently made a container change and the "product may act a little different". Not sure how a container change alone would change the product to this degree. I originally thought maybe they had messed up and put the "Original" label on some of their new "Smooth" product, but apparently not. See attached pictures for old vs. new. I could totally understand the difference if this were their new "smooth" product or something along those lines, but this is not that.. this should be the same ol "original" I've been buying since it was first introduced, but it isn't. Or at least, in my opinion, it isn't. See attached pictures. The difference is even more obvious in person. Hopefully they go back to the old stuff is all I can really say.

I've been a bluemaan customer for years and I love the quality of all of their products. The wax fiber is the best all-around for low shine, medium-high hold. For a good 3-4 hours this stuff will stand strong, but it is easily water soluble so sweat tends to take it out (I'm a forehead sweater) It never leaves my hair sticky or feeling gross. For the money it does give you fairly little but it depends on how you use it. For a guy with shorter hair I can make one of these last at least 6 months if I use it every day. So I’ve used a lot of products... let’s start with that. I have kinda short, thin hair.. 1 inch on top, like 2 1/2 in the front, hair falls exactly 1/2 inch above my eyebrows. PROS - Very easy to use - Fresh mint SMELL, you know what chocolate mint cookies smell like? It’s mike that, all peppermint. - Easy to wash out. - Doesn’t harden up your hair too much. DAILY LIFE USAGE. I live in Chicago, so right now it’s pretty damn cold and windy, it holds fine. Yesterday I ran 3.6 miles at my local gym and... it held decently, some of it did appear to come out and make my hair go straight again... but I mean almost 4 miles causes lots of sweat. CONS - Not as strong as my normal girl hair clay by Mitch. I’ve only used this product for 2-3 normal days now, and it’s fine, doesn’t exactly what it says.

Why did they switch to a square container?! Product is good. Square container for a product like this is terrible.

Bought this after previously buying their clay to see how they work together, and i must say this is an amazing pre styler. I use it in damp hair and take a brush to evenly distribute it. (Not necessary but works best for me) Then I blowdry it with medium heat fast speed and either build volume with a vent brush and create an amazing foundation and volume for my post styler or blowdry it downwards and move my fingers to create a low volumed textured look. I have had trouble if i use it in dry hair as it tugs and pulls, which is this products downfall. But since i dont use it as a post styler and use it as a prestyler in damp hair it doesnt tug or pull. It has built in heat protectant which helps with the blow dryer and I've seen it even helps during the day if its hot outside. The smell is a nice refreshing minty smell which is not overpowering. The packaging is nice and simple. I”ve used this with blumaans other product cavalier clay which gives me all day hold and i mainly use these two when i go for that quiff high volume look. I also use this with shear revivals northern lights matte paste for a messy but still a bit of volume look. I might also throw in some texture powder for even more texture. Overall this product give amazing volume and control during blowdrying but can also give amazing texture and while cocktailed with other products gives an all day hold.

This product is amazing. The fact that it works as a pre-styler and a post-styler along with heat protection and natural ingredients is awesome. The product has awesome hold, 1 downside to this is that it may dry too fast which means it would be a difficulty for you to style it within the seconds of it drying up. I have really thick hair but it still works out for me. This product has a minty smell to it, it's not too much and nor too light. One good thing to consider is that for this product, don't try to warm it up like you do with other products, but instead, you just spread it across your hands and apply it to your hair.
