Icreopro Bicycle Gravity Cap Mount For Garmin Edge GPS Cycling Computer

It's a nifty idea using this as part of the headset cap mount as it saves the need to have a Garmin handle bar mount or out front mount especially if its taken up with lights, bells, cameras , Tri bars etc .Unfortunately for me my Fuji road bike headset has a different shape than the dished base of this mount and my stem cap has a collar that fits over the stem washer assembly. (see photo for comparison)I tried it leaving the old head cap in place and passing the bolt through both, although it seemed to tighten ok I didn't feel I could trust it to remain tight.The stem capo the replaced cap definitely needs to be the same dished shape for this to work.I think it would probably fit my Felt TT bike as the cone shape is the same but I'm happy with my Garmin set up with that bike and didn't want to start changing it.I can see this working as just trying it by sitting on the bike it sat in a nice position and angle when I used the drops on the bike.A very nifty idea but unfortunately not compatible with my head set.

I have a similar mount on my MTB which has held my XOSS computer firm for many a ride (it has the same connections as a Garmin) and this one is every bit as good, just remove the old top cap and fit this in it's place fit the computer with a twist and your done.There's just one thing I don't like and that you have to remove the plastic clip to fit this and that is held down by two small bolts, it's not hard to do it but if you need to adjust any movement in the headset you have to remove it to do so, if they had at least made the center hole big enough to fit the Allen key into then any adjustments can be made quite easy, but those little bolts are quite easy to drop being a bit fiddley so having to take them off risk loosing them especially if out on the trail could be a bit of a pain.But that is the only thing I can really find otherwise this is a good mount and that small problem can easy be fixed with a drill.

The mount feels well made and solid and comes with the long bolt to attach to the star fangled nut in the steerer. The actual Garmin mount itself is the standard plastic which everyone uses. All in all it does the job it's supposed to without fault. I like that it won't cause running to the stem like versions which use rubber straps to hold them in place.

I had no problem fitting this to the headset of my bike (replacing existing on your bike). My Garmin Edge 530 that clips onto this headset mount without issue.It frees up space on your handlebars and positions your GPS directly in front of you which I think is perfect. An inexpensive solution which works as expected.

This replaces the top cap on your stem and then allows you to mount a Garmin device. Easy to fit and works well. Two small allen bolts need to be removed so the top cap securing bolt can be screwed down into the star shaped headset collar, so you need a proper set of allen keys but otherwise a 5 minute job
