I have had dry mouth since 2011 when I had quite a bit of radiation. When in our car or van, I can always take water when we go somewhere: but it's very difficult to carry water everywhere you go. I tried hard candy until my dentist told me to get sugar free. I tried that but didn't like sugar free hard candy, if I could even find any. I can't chew gum (sugar free) because they stick to my dentures! Problems! Problems! I tried cough drops, but again my dentist said to get sugar free. I tried old brands and new brands. They were fair, but not good for MY taste, until I tried Ricola. Finally! Here was a cough drop that was sugar free and tasted good to me! There are several flavors and I can stick with one or choose another when I want to. AND I can have one anywhere I go...even church (and I sing in the choir...try doing THAT with a dry mouth!).

These cough drops are really a first-rate product. They are made in Switzerland and the ingredient list doesn't include artificial ingredients, though they do have natural food-coloring added. In fact, they are made mostly of Swiss-grown herbs with a bit of sugar added for taste.During allergy season here in pollen-filled North Carolina, these drops do wonders for soothing my family's sore throats and keeping coughs at bay.However, these drops do have a pretty strong menthol/herbal taste to them that has taken some getting used to. If you really dislike things that have a strong menthol taste to them, you may want to try Ricola's honey lemon cough drops. The honey lemon drops have the same good quality ingredients in them, but have less menthol and taste more like candy.

such a great deal during flue and cold season. This is the only cough drop for me and the whole family! avoid finding the convenience store running out!I prefer not to fill my belly full of menthol flavored cough drops, for me it just adds to the misery of being sick, this is a perfect alternative for me.

In the last 65 years I have tried a lot of different cough drops. Many of which are no longer sold. For me, these Ricolas are better than any of the others currently offered. These work better than the sugar free ones.

At the end of the fall I often develop a dry cough from my allergies. I have tried other cough drops but they are more like candy. Ricola easily works best. They actually work and stop my cough. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs real relief from a cough.
