Nice quality material. Doesn’t appear to be cheaply made. Followed measurement guidelines and fits our lab fine.

I read a forum saying you’ll never buy a dog vest to fit perfect out of the box. This vest was quick and easy to trim and sew back up, after 4 hours of pushing pheasants in 8” of snow and 15 degrees her body was dry and warm and it didn’t seem to slow her down at all! Hopefully rig ‘em comes out with a warm weather vest for fall/summer that is built as tough as this.

Unhappy with durability of upper shoulder area. It tore apart halfway through last duck season (See picture)Bought another in XXLg this year hoping Rig Em Right had reinforced the upper shoulder area but looks like they have not. Hope it will not be another $80 down the drain.

This was a great purchase for our Griff when she was taken to North Dakota for duck hunting. We live in Alabama and our dog is used to a warmer climate. This vest was great for keeping her warmer, she was doing some shivering in the duck blind prior to putting on the vest (we weren't sure if it would be needed). This vest may not fit your pup perfectly but there's plenty of videos out there with tips on how to trim, sew, and use neoprene cement to give this vest a better fit on your pup. This product is well made and was a great purchase! Without the vest, I think our dog wouldn't have been able to spent most of the day out hunting.

We purchased one of these about 2 years ago. It finally wore out after much use. This newer one seems as good or better than the first one. This is used primarily to keep mud and water off our border collie when she's out running with me on our ranch. There is good coverage from her chest to the base of her tail. We have nicknamed this her "suitcase" as it has a handle on the top of the back, allowing me to lift her when necessary. The original one was a "Large" size which fit quite loose on her 50 lb frame. She has trimmed down to about 42 lbs now and this "Large" fits her perfectly. It almost looks like a custom fit. She has a very broad chest and this size works well for her.We were happy with the first one and hope this one wears as well as the last one.

Purchase 2 of these vests for my labs. Both vests did the same thing . Stitching ripped off of zipper.

Absolutely love this neoprene dog vest! Do not keep shopping for other vests this is the one for you I promise!! I have bought three different dog vests for my chocolate lab so far as she has been growing up! Right now she is 30 lbs so you should order a medium. She’s in her teenage age. When she gets to her full size around 50 lbs she will need a large or extra large. They do kinda run small so order the size bigger!! Love this product and the quality!! This vest will never wear out because it is a zip on vest and also has tough velcro for extra support.
