Would this need 8mm beads?

I purchased both 8mm & 10mm beads and neither no where near close to the diameter of the stem. I literally just tried. So now I’m on the search for bigger beads. Try at least a 20mm. That’s what I’m trying next.

A reviewer says it's multi strand wire on the end? They aren't stainless steel rods with clips on them?

I purchased these a couple years ago to use to clip a business card sized laminated restaurant name/logo to stick in a small clay pot with a plant. I don't have a picture to show you, sorry. As I recall, there was a single rod per clip; not a multi strand wire on each. Hope that helps.

the overall device is 6 inches long, the clip apparatus is just over an inch, and there's about half an inch of usable jaw length inside the clip
