I was forewarned when I read another review saying that the item they received was not the same as the one pictured. I took a chance anyway and found that they were correct. The sock monkey hat I got is different also - it's the cheaper version that you see online and doesn't resemble the real sock monkey face as much as the more expensive version. It is also definitely child size, so I will be giving it away anyway. All of that is fine, but it should be clearly stated. I would not have ordered the item if the correct picture had been posted and the size had been described accurately.

Unlike other reviewers, I received exactly what was shown on the product page. Further, the cap seems to be of good quality - I pulled at the seams, the pom-poms, and earflaps, and none of the stitching seems loose to me. It is lined with fleece, so it is a nice, thick cap. Very cute. That said, it probably does run a bit small for an adult. I have a small head and it fits me perfectly, but it also could just about fit my toddler's head, too (he is in the 95 percentile for head circumference, though). If you have a larger head, this cap probably won't fit you well. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I read a ton of bad reviews on this hat but decided to go for it anyway. It looked exactly like the photo! Very nice quality and I have no complaints! It is pretty tight on my normal adult sized head (I consider my head kind of small actually). The hat was very snug on me. I gave it as a gift to my friend's 1 year old and it was very baggy on him, but so cute!

I sent this to my friend for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. It's very cute. I know some others mentioned that you get a different hat from what is pictured, but that is not true. You get exactly what's in the picture... The grey/brown part of the monkey looks a little darker in person, but it was probably just a strong flash in the picture...

I ordered this hat for a toddler and assumed it would fit since the picture advertising it showed a child wearing the hat. I ordered two other sock monkey hats for adults from a different seller since they were listed as "Adult" hats and were pictured on an adult. All three arrived in the same size. I was happy enough with the quality of the hat (some other postings had mentioned low quality hats arriving), but I would have liked more information on the sizing up front.

Got this hat for a friend as a gift. It looks a lot better than the main headlining picture, but it's only a decent hat. I wouldn't take it snowboarding since it would get drenched pretty quickly. But it does well as a hat.
