Great comprehensive Seoul guide
The over 250 pages seems to cover everything a tourist and even locals may want to know. Beside useful visiting tips in the first sections, the Explore Seoul section by districts is just great. It also provides detailed maps for every district, plenty of suggestions on what to do and useful information on how to get around. I specially like the neighborhood walking tours. By providing as well information for day trips from Seoul, one can easily spend 2 weeks without running out of places to visit and things to to do options.

Great little reference for South Korea solo travel
Loved perusing the contained information on Korea sights and travel in Seoul. However, just spent 11 days there on tour, travelling this country on your own will take some thought and planning. It is a great little reference.

Good for finding out where you want to go; maps are great
I took this updated guide to Seoul this month and found it was a great reference for identifying places I wanted to visit. The maps are fantastic. I'd recommend this guide in tandem with one of the Korean apps for navigating the subway/transit system (such as kakao maps). The historical and cultural information was helpful too - it wasn't super detailed, but just right to provide a little background info (I learned more at individual sites) and still keep the book small enough to carry with me. As of May 2022, the Covid situation continues to change rapidly. People I encountered in public (on the subway or at points of interest) were generally very helpful and had up-to-date info about attractions or services that were still closed due to Covid.

Needs full subway map
I bought this book primarily for the map. I wanted a backup just in case something happened to my phone. However, there is only a partial map of the subway, and even the part that is there is missing one of the routes. The book was kind of fun to flip through, but ultimately not worth space in the suitcase.
