Kids! Adjustable Wrist Band Medical Alert ID Bracelet ~ Blue by AJ Hart

I purchased these for my two kids in anticipation of flying. They have no medical issues, but I was concerned that two toddlers in a busy airport could be problematic. Especially since I anticipate the response to "What is your mommy's name?" would be "Momma." So... I got these so that my kids would at least have my cell number and name o nthem if we were to get seperated. I have been having them wear them at the zoo and other public places so that they are comfortable by the time we fly. no issues. Except that if the paper inside gets wet, the ID is gone. I am going to write on plastic pieces with Sharpie and I hope that will help.

My 3yr old also likes to take it off and take the information page out - but really if your child will keep it on and not play in the mud - it's really good ;) I have not tried to wash it yet - I won't know about the durability of it at that level until I try it. I like the bright colors and the style is neat! He says it's his watch and wants to show everyone. I think next time I'll order Black - shouldn't show as much dirt.

This was perfect for using with my 3 year-old at an amusement park. The only problem is that the velcro is easy to open and my son was able to easily remove it himself.

This is ok. I'm sure for other children it would be perfectly fine but for my special needs child he doesn't like the feel of the bracelet. I think it feels too harsh on him. I've been working on getting him to wear it just for outings as that is the most important time for him to be wearing it. I liked that it had the insert I could write more specific things about my son vs having to engrave a few words on a metal bracelet. I just need to get him used to it a bit more.

We bought this for our recent beach vacation because we didn't want to lose my son's expensive metal medical ID bracelet in the ocean. It worked wonderfully. There is a pocket to slide the waterproof paper into and even though my son's was filled with little bits of broken shell and sand each afternoon, it rinsed out easily and dried quickly. The velcro didn't lose grip either. It's a perfect backup solution. My son's wrist is very small (about 4.5 inches around) and we had no problem getting it snug enough.

We bought 2 of these for our elementary school age kids when we traveled to Europe. We were especially concerned that if they got lost in a crowd, they would not speak the language to say who they were or how to reach us. We wrote their names and our contact information -- changing it for every country we visited. Ultimately, we never lost the kids or had to use the bracelets. But it provided great peace of minds.The bracelets are also sturdy. Our kids wore them every day for 3 months -- through sweat and heat and swimming. The bracelets never broke down.

This product started coming apart the day that it was put on.

My son is a very picky three year old. He refuses to wear any bracelet or necklace of any kind. He absolutely loved this and never once complained or tried to remove it. We were vacationing overseas and the comfort it gave me was priceless! He kept showing everyone and telling them it was his special safety bracelet. You need to make a lot of copies of the info though because it is not very water resistant and we put a new one in every two days. No biggy. It was waaaaaay worth every penny.
