Always use a generous swipe of "Skin Tac Wipe" on the skin area before applying the Tegaderm patch, and the patch will withstand the water and heat.

The 9506W is 4"x4 3/4" while the 1624W is 2 3/8"x2 3/4". The numbering convention 3M uses is confusing. There are also antimicrobial and adhesive and film differences I haven't needed worry about that. We use the 1626W, mainly because it's the one we were getting from our local medical supply at greatly higher price. It works, so...
