Awesome
I like the 3:2 aspect ratio screen and resolution looks about the same as my prior 1080p chromebook to my eyes. My prior chromebook just passed its AUE (auto update expiration) so no longer got security updates so it was time for a new one. This one has a June 2029 AUE which is great since that is about 6 years and should be time for a new one by then anyway. For about 300 this is all I need in a laptop and runs very quick and snappy. I like the black keyboard area with the white keys. I do miss having a backlit keyboard but it is nice contrast so easy to see the keys. I also like the large touchpad area and the size is perfect for regular lap use on the couch.

Handy laptop at a fair price.
Handy little laptop, and like most Chromebooks is easy to use for pretty much all of the things that I use a laptop for. The price was fair and the device is completely satisfactory.

Overall great Chromebook but 4 gig memory kind of sucks
Long story short great Chromebook. Excellent performance, build quality, touchscreen, weight, keyboard except only 4 gig of memory for $400 (got the higher end model) is what keeps it from getting 5 stars. Its super snappy now but is also running 32bit ARM according to Chrome. I have a feeling in just a few years the 4 gig of memory is going to be very limiting especially when transition to 64bit. It says its supported to 2029 which is awesome but hard to see it able to run Chrome in 2029 if current trends hold, but we will see.

Very solid little machine
This was one in a series of attempts to replace my beloved Transformer, bl;own out by Hawaiian electric. I can't say it did that entirely, but it is a nice, portable little machine. It is slower than I had aniticipated, given all I have heard about how light Chrome is, but I actually think Google is as much to blame here. Asus makes great computers. This is perfect if you need something light. It is much better than a phone for reading, streaming... I am tempted to call it a ntebook. I actuallly have one of Asus's original netbooks. It is 20+ years old and still works. This arrived in a bnox so battered it is amazing that anything survived that . It had been shipped in a huge box with no padding and the box was crushed, but, remarkably the computer survived. Lie I said earlier, ASUS makes solid machines.

Perfect for homeschool
Ordered 3 of these for my kids first year of homeschool. We loved them and I'm glad I got the Touchscreen features.

Company does not stand behind product
We purchased this Chromebook in November 2023, and by Feb 28, 2024, it was broken. The keys on the line with keys "asdfghjkl" do not work. Apparently this is a known issue and when we contacted ASUS, they immediately said it would need repaired. However, the company who is the reseller for Amazon, Endear Direct, we were notified that they were not an authorized reseller for Amazon. This was nowhere on Amazon's site. Needless to say, ASUS and Amazon, do not stand behind the product and it will break.

I should of stayed with acer
First of all all chromebooks look the same. It started out ok but all of a sudden it would stop streaming movies and loading pictures on some websites. Twitter and amazon to name two are very slow and what is really funny my internet provider just doubled my speed. Never had a problem with my acer which I gave away. Just junk. I never write reviews unless it is really really bad

Problem with USB and CAMERA access
This is nice Chrome laptop. I like it and don't want to return it. However, it such a challenge to get the camera to load and it won't find my USB. I still do a lot of USB work and this is a challenge. I'm still within the 30 days (otherwise Amazon would not return - it's 3rd party - so be careful 3rd party purchases). Amazon will refund and I will return this; because I'm concerned there may be other issues and even thought it's not even 30 days...the manufacturer was already saying I need to pay $85.00 just for them to take a look. That's kind of scary. Fortunately, I discovered this before 30days and Amazon will refund. peace.
