Fits perfectly and super comfortable

I'm getting back into mountain biking after a several year hiatus. Needing biking shorts, I scanned what Amazon had on offer. I decided to get a pair of these shorts based primarily on its range of sizes, as well as the reviews it got. You know, I never used to read reviews, considering them a waste of time. Well, one of the things that age is supposed to give you is a little more smarts than you had when you could tear up the trails for hours on end. So, yup, I read the reviews. Now, back in the Jurassic Age of mountain biking, sufficient padding where your tush met the seat was not something that was considered too important, hence the VERY THIN padding that characterized bike shorts then. I thank the trail gods that that has changed. Overall, this is a great biking short - well made, fits the way they say it will & does what it's supposed to, esp. padding wise. As I extend my rides, I've found that the one area I didn't have to worry about was getting sore in my nether regions because my bike shorts didn't offer enough comfort where you really notice it. I only bought one pair of these shorts, figuring if they didn't work I'd just return them. Now, I'm going to be getting at least 2 or 3 more of this product. 'Nough said?

Ordered XL(XXL Asian) fit fine in the legs ,although they run a little short on me(an extra 3/4"inch would be nice),fits ok on my waist but as soon as I bend they fall down and expose the top part of my butt,I feel if I went a size up I would get the length in the legs and coverage on my butt.But would be too big overall

Update: I've gone on five or six rides with these now, and of course I've washed them in between each ride, and they're holding up pretty well! The chamois scoots around a little bit, now, compared to when it was new - I guess it must be stretched out weird somewhere. But not too bad. Original review - still pretty accurate impression: Five stars are for decent performance considering the low price. FIT: I'm usually a medium or large in US sizes depending on the brand, but based on the reviews I got these shorts in XL. They fit perfectly. My waist is 34 in cheap big-box brands and 36 in more fashionable brands, 6'0" 205 lbs. My sit bones are 13.0 cm apart and the chamois padding on the XL was a decent width for me, with a 155 mm wide saddle (specialized Power Comp). EXPERIENCE SO FAR: It took a good 40 mi ride to break them in and get everything to form to my bum without scooting around, but then they were great. The padding has venting holes that are somewhat effective at breathing. I worked up a good sweat (lots of short steep hills) and stayed comfortable on a sunny 75 °F day. I'm washing them now and will report back on how they hold up. One seam in the crotch looks like it's already starting to fray, though. No, they aren't as comfy or high-performing as expensive shorts, but if you want a cheap functional pair to destroy, look no further!

My actual waist measurement is 32". I ordered a Santic Large and it fits. In Chinese sizes I also fit a 1x with one pair of another brand. My Louis Garneau shorts are size Small (also made in China). I'd say, estimate based on my 32" waist = Large to guess what size you actually need. The shorts themselves are rather nice. They're comfortable and not too long. The padding is good, and I've had no issues in about 125 miles of riding on different days. I've been complimented on the look. So all in all, I like them, and they're a bargain compared to the big names. I just wish it wasn't a random guess about size.

I am six foot 220 with a 36 inch waist. The xxxl fit as described. Wore them today for a quick half an hour ride and the shorts were comfortable and the padding was sufficient. There were some minor issues in the upper inner thigh area that seemed to work itself out as I adjusted on the fly. All in all a solid product for the price. Quality is appropriate for the amount paid.
