Excellent Product
I recently purchased this product to address issues with the second SSD slot on my motherboard, which unfortunately was no longer functional. My goal was to upgrade my SSD to 4TB, and this device proved to be a valuable tool for disk cloning. During the transfer process, I realized that I hadn't backed up essential data, leaving me concerned about potential complications. Despite this oversight, the product demonstrated exceptional reliability, and fortunately, the transfer proceeded without any issues. This converter has been a smart investment for upgrading computers with M.2 devices. It facilitated a smooth transfer of SSD content to a larger drive, and its overall performance has been commendable. The ease of use, speed, and reliability make it a practical choice for individuals seeking a hassle-free solution for upgrading and cloning SSDs.

Great for cloning to a new M.2 SSD (and reading data from them)
Not much else to say other than it does exactly what it advertises. Works like a charm to clone data to a new M2 drive, and also to easily read/copy data from them should you have a need to.

Works well, but instructions to mount card and plastic strip needed
This unit came all sealed up and I had to cut open the bag which, to me, meant that it was totally new and not returned by someone else. On both my motherboard and an adaptor for the motherboard, the memory strip is inserted into the mounting connector at a 45 degree angle and then pressed down and held in place with a screw that goes into a metal part of the adaptor or motherboard. I could not find the screw so I went to the local hardware store and bought one which did not go into the metal mounting connector. I then realized that what I thought was the mounting connector on this device needed to be unscrewed from the back side, the grove in this mounting connector then went into the slot on the memory card and the mounting connector then held in place with the screw from the back side. (see picture) I also found a blue strip of plastic in the package that appeared to be sticky on both sides once a strip of clear film was removed. Since there were no instructions, I have no idea what this is for. I wish I knew as obviously the manufacture would not include it if it was not necessary. With instructions my trip to the hardware store would not have taken place I would not be left with a piece of blue plastic. Other than that, my Windows 11 desktop computer recognized it immediately and it works very well. Thus 4 stars.
