Most comfortable boot ever
I purchased these for my daughter as a gift and she adores them. This is actually her second pair. Now she has a black and brown pair. I highly recommend these boots.

Gorgeous Semi-Victorian Boots!
I have these boots in both black and brown. They are great for any occasion where you need to dress up in Victorian or Steampunk costuming. They zip up on the side, so you can adjust the laces to fit, then use the zipper to get in and out easily. This isn't strictly accurate, historically speaking, but it's hard to find truly accurate boots. Especially if you have wide feet.Unfortunately, despite the less-than-cheap price, these are cheap boots. They have practically no padding on the insole, so if you're going to wear them for any length of time, you'll want to use gel inserts, or at least the kind that go under the ball of your foot. They run small, too. Normally, I wear an 8 WW, but I couldn't fit my foot comfortably into the 8, so I had to go up to a 9. Even with the 9, I have to loosen the laces considerably in order to zip them all the way up my calf. And I don't have wide calves! They're just a snug fit.Four stars, because they look great (and because they don't have speed hooks!) Recommended for anyone who needs a somewhat authentic-looking Victorian boot for theater, cosplay, or any other occasion you might have to play dress-up.

and I AM GLAD I DID
I am a true size 8. After reading all the reviews saying it was much too narrow in the toe area, I ordered a size 9, and I AM GLAD I DID. I plan to use these boots for costumes. I didn't realize that the toe area was as "pointy" as it is. This area measures approximately one inch. On the boot, just before the area becomes narrow is where my toes land. All the pointy area is empty space, BUT I AM NOT CRAMPED. I plan to either stuff this space w/ cotton or wear an insert. I also like the fact that the boot lace area is real. On some boots, the lace front is just for show. You don't have to rely upon the zipper to get the boot on and off. I do have wide calves and it is very helpful to wear these and lace them according to my width. I don't think these will last very long if you are looking for every day use or in the snow. Wearing them once, twice a year will last a while.

Authentic, comfortable, and sturdy
I am very happy with my purchase. I bought these boots to wear for a Victorian-era play and I have very little to complain about. The shoes proved sturdy, comfortable, and they looked great! One thing that bothered me was after I wore them for a while, I noticed that the tongues of the boots wouldn't remain in place. They would slide over and I found myself having to unzip the shoes and fix them repeatedly. It wasn't a huge problem because the boots were mostly hidden underneath my dress, but it could be a problem in other situations. I think it might've had to do with the way the boots fit me. The boots fit my feet correctly, but the upper part of the boot was too large for my calves.Other than that, I love my boots! My feet did start to ache after hours of wearing them, but that happens with any heels I wear. I am very grateful for the zipper so that I didn't have to lace myself into my boots every time, but the laces were still there so I could adjust as needed. If you are looking for authentic-looking, comfortable boots to complete a Victorian costume or even modern-day outfits, these are an excellent option! Well worth the money paid.

Cute but worried about chafing due to fit issues.
I wear a 7.5 but had to order an 8 because no half sizes were available. Even though so have a wide food, the 8 remains a tad too big. I can add a pad to help fill the space in the foot but am concerned the shaft will chafe my legs as I walk; it is loose on my calves even laced as tight as it will go. Socks might help but normally one would wear this boot with tights or nylons which probably won't be enough to stop the friction. I think I will order the 7 too, do a comparison, and return one or the other. On a different subject if your feet tend to sweat a lot, buy something else. These are all man made uppers (read "vinyl/plastic") and will not breathe at all. It's pretty much what you should expect of an inexpensive "costume" boot.

Perfect!
Ordering shoes online has always caused me to hesitate a little bit, just because I can't try them on to see what I'm getting in to. However, this is my second pair of shoes from Funtasma, and they have yet to disappoint. I'm a 7 1/2 and sized up to an 8, which fit perfectly. As usual, the quality is great for the price, and the boots came packaged neatly and were in great condition upon arrival. The insides, to my surprise, are mildly squishy (like there's a veeeery thin foam lining in it or something) which makes them really comfortable. The zippers work smoothly, and the boots seem to be built sturdily. Only issues I had were incredibly minor, such as the tongue slipping to the side as the day wore on, and the laces seemed inclined to loosen, although double-knotting put a stop to that. I wore these all day at a convention for two days in a row, with nary a blister in sight. However, if you do have arch problems or an oddly placed arch, I would recommend getting some sort of inserts to ensure maximum comfort. But the price, quality, and speedy shipping (and let me mention again...no blisters!!!) leave me with nothing but positive things to say about these boots.

I have horrible feet! meaning wide and I wear I size ...
I purchased these boots for a Victorian costume, I also wanted to choose a boot that I could possibly wear for fall with some leggings. I have horrible feet! meaning wide and I wear I size 12...( your basic Fred Flinstone nightmare) which it is very hard for me to find a nice shoe in this size anyway. The boots are pointy near the toes, hmmmmm that I was concerned about, since I was not able to try them on....but no fear, my wide foot still was comfy in these boots, and in my opinion are very true to size.....getting them laced up was a challenge, once they are laced there is a nice convenient zipper on the side that made it super easy! It did take a while for these boots to be delivered, I believe due to it being a 3rd party company they are shipping from..... so allow a couple of weeks for delivery....arrived in great condition!

Fits to size
I am a size 10 and these boots fit perfectly! Also, the laces are already started for you, so it's easy to know how to lace them all the way up. they are good quality!

Wonderful!
I cannot praise these boots enough! I bought them for my daughter to go with a long Victorian look dress and they look amazing. Very sexy!I know they are not real leather but you would not be able to tell any difference, plus they are so flattering and just the perfect heel height. My daughter says they have got to be one of the comfiest pairs of shoes/boots she has ever had and would recommend them to anyone.

Not for girls with a chunky calf!
I bought these to wear to the Rocky Horror Show as part of a Magenta outfit - they are really lovely although I subsequently found very similar boots in a shop for much cheaper. Usual thing really, if I had gone out looking, they would have been nowhere to be found!I have quite a chunky calf and the boots only just fitted at the top. They are however very comfortable and the heel is just right for me.The seller was excellent as they came much quicker than I had expected.

Lovely boots for a good price
A lovely stylish boot and surprisingly comfy. The heel is just the right hight for both easy walking if you're used to flat shoes and adds a dignified curve to your ankles. Highly recommended if your looking to add a touch of class and sophistication to your look. So far I've worn them with burgandy leggings and a knee length black flared skirt. Might try some stripey tights for either an Alice in Wonderland look or a cute Wicked Witch of the West dress up.
