Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil and Deodorant Duo, 3.4 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 2), Plant Rich Skin Pampering Set with Wild Rose Oil

I do not have allergies to deodorants and use many brands from Sure/Dove to crystal ones. I bought this for my son but tried it out of curiosity before giving to him. After using this deodorant my armpits were stinging and very itchy. The next day I had big red welts under my armpits and a red patch that was spreading along my arms and sides. I am taking antihistamines now as it is so painful.

Pros:Smells amazingNice packaging which is recyclable (glass spray bottle)Can be reapplied easily if needed throughout the day - not so easy to do that with balms, etc.Did I say it smells amazing?Cons:DO NOT USE AFTER SHAVING YOUR ARMPITS - OUCH!Doesn't really work as a deodorant - body spray or fragrance spray would be a more accurate descriptionHaving to use a lot of product, so it doesn't last as long as the deodorant balms/bars and can drip before it driesThe reason I chose this is because I like to use products: that don't contain nasty chemicals, that are not tested on animals, and that do not block pores/sweat glands. Overall, would consider purchasing this again but only for use as a body spray because I love the smell so much. I will opt for deodorant balms or bars as I have in the past for my actual deodorant.

Unfortunately this deodorant really isn't good at all.I'm.not an overly sweaty, mlsmelly person, and I don't perspire all too much. However this deodorant was terrible and I ended up smelling worse if I hadn't put it on in the first place.It didn't last very long either.I read the reviews, and found only one other disappointed buyer, so put that review down to perhaps that person was a bit pongy (sorry other person). However, that must not be the case, because the deodorant didn't work for me, and I ended up not using it Unfortunately.So therefore, as much as I love the Weleda range, I won't be recommending this product.

This is an effective natural deodorant. No, it won't have the sort of long, 12+ hours effect that antiperspirants deodorants have, but that's because you're not blocking your pores with aluminium! In hormonal times of the month, I reapply it in the middle of the day, and voila, no stinking pits. Weleda deodorants are great (so are Salt of the Earth's, which are a little cheaper), but this one's scent was a little too lemony for me. There's s a difference between a citrus fragrance and smelling like a caipirinha all day!

I saw it had a climate friendly pledge, was looking for a new brand. The reviews were good and it was really expensive so thought it’d be a great product.I’ve never had a deodorant simply not work before. Within a couple hours it was as if I put nothing on.Won’t be buying again.
