I like this book!
I usually just read books that I check out from the library, but from the synopsis that was listed I wanted to take my time and read this one at a slower pace, so that is why I bought it. I am glad I did. Richie Norton and the editors wrote a really good book. Each chapter built on the previous chapter and it flowed nicely and it was very understandable. I like books that help me grow and help me to look at something from a new perspective. I appreciated Mr. Norton's openness and honesty about his ups and downs. And I appreciated all the research he did to write this book. One of them being that he interviewed many people and found quotes from many others. He shared many stories from his own life and from others lives too. I enjoyed reading this book so much that I reread it!

simply inspiring
This is one of those books that you can't help but write down so many inspiring passages and put them on your wall in order to have constant reminders. When we are stuck in a conventional life, surrounded by other people doing conventional things, we naturally think that “this” is just the way life is. The message Richie brings to life is exactly what helps you see that life doesn't have to be that way. Using inspiring real-life stories, the book gives you that final push to do your "something stupid", and do it now. It's a refreshing take on doing what makes you happy- regardless of what other people think and the fears you may keep inside- and will give you serious motivation to start viewing life through that lens. I keep it handy and return to it often in moments of doubt or fear and it gives me just the push I need to keep going.

Great book.
If you have an idea (or can read between the lines and realize the power this book contains to help you make changes in your life) but have no clue what to do next - read this book!

Very Inspiring Book
This enjoyable book is an easy and quick read. It is filled with good insight and valuable advice. There is nothing profoundly new here, yet it is an extremely inspiring formulation. The simple idea of just getting started on your "stupid" idea taken to its limit in this book creates a powerful impulse in the reader. This is not a great book, but it is a very good book and well worth your time to read.

Read it twice in 2014, then started living my dream in 2015
I first came across this book in 2014... I read it twice in a row. It, among other books, was influential in me finally pursuing my dream to become a writer. I started blogging online in 2015 and over the next few years went on to become a professional writer. I reached out and met Richie Norton in 2014 and have been close friends with him ever since. He's a great guy. I love his energy. I love how he lives. He and his wife, and his family, are the real deal.

READ this book!
So many people these days are trapped in a consumer way of life. As if everything is preprogrammed. You are born, go to school, college, get married, and die all the wile working a job to put food on your table and hope you don't get fired. This book plants a seed of dreams... dreams that you had when you were young and planned on owning something or starting something amazing. I think one of the quotes in this book that I found so memorable in this book was that you only have 2 things that you can add to your person or to increase yourself. The books you read and the people you know. All the rest is glitter and fake charm like cars and toys.

Three Stars
Content is great- but the condition was a little disappointing. There was a ripped page.

This book Changed my life.
I had no idea the goldmine had I stepped into when I decided to purchase and read this book. I thought I would get a little encouraged or maybe inspired but Richie Norton shares his life, struggles, advice, and priceless principals to live by. It's real. It's authentic, genuine, and touching. You will cry and hopefully you'll put aside fear and anything else that is getting in the way of living the life you want to be living. It's dense- packed with amazing quotes, interviews and things you'll be writing down so as not to forget.I will be reading this book over and over because there's just no way to hear everything in just one go.BUY THIS BOOK.

Absolutely incredible and hugely inspiring
I thought I was the only stupid person to have these stupid ideas, but I’ve discovered I’m not! Richie provides a framework that helps you identify and then action your stupid ideas. I’ve started so many stupid ideas because of this book and I’ve set myself on a path towards living authentically and intentionally. I recommended this book to everybody!

Brilliant title. Would say it is an excellent book ...
Brilliant title. Would say it is an excellent book for someone starting out or contemplating "doing something stupid".Another reviewer has presented an overall content of the book so I won't duplicate. Many concepts I have found in other books, but I did gain some "aha" insights that got me thinking and will implement in the future.ex. pg 231 Accepting vs receiving a gift. Accepting is just taking the gift and putting it on a shelf. Receiving a gift is true appreciation and acknowledgement of the gift. Valuing the giver and the gift. I took a picture of the page as a reminder. Simple concept.Even though I have read or heard of some of the material, the book does give a lot of food for thought.Easy to read,
