The care instructions are; Hand Washing will preserve the gold luster. Do not use abrasive cloths and strong chemical cleaners. I never put anything into a dishwasher that has a coating eg: gold coating, as it will over time slowly remove the coating off the item.

Hi Natalie, that is a great question. A lot of people would pop them into the dishwasher. However, I always handwash anything that is coated in gold or any other plating, so that it doesn’t loose its luster. I have also just pulled out and checked the care instructions. Beautiful and functional! I love these. Time will only tell how long they will hold up but for now they are Beautiful.

Pretty yet hard to store

I have been using these for a while now and while they are not rusty, they look a bit tarnished maybe because I wash it in the dishwasher a couple times but they still work and look as nice as I first received them. Work really well but not really good when storing them. The rings make them a bit too bulky and it is such a hassle putting them back together.
