This is a game changer. I have HFI and other food discomforts. Basically I can't eat really anything without getting severe bloating, gas, pain etc. If you suffer from something similar I don't have to explain this you or someone close to you lives this. For the products that help digest all 3 of these groups of food this one is the most cost effective. It is not a cure, However, it helps. I can eat some normal food once in a while and do not feel the severe side effects from it. Definitely helps with the bloating, pain and discomfort and overall food digestion. If you are also real gassy typically with eating, I would suggest taking a gas X product or similar as well. (at different times as directed on the bottle). I would definately reccomend this product to persons with these issues. I take it everywhere with me.

I googled the enzymes listed in this product and compared with Monash University FODMAP Diet app. The enzymes in the capsules should help breakdown fructose (like in broccoli or garlic), fructan (like onion or cabbage), lactose, and GOS (like beans/tofu), but won't help with mannitol (like cauliflower) or sorbitol (like cherry). I tested the effect by eating a large portion of tofu, garlic, and cabbage plus several spoonful of chickpeas. It seems to reduce but not eliminate the expected GI symptoms. I guess the dosage might not be high enough for a large amount of FODMAP or other food contents, like high fiber content, also contribute to digestive problems.

This product is a combination of three ingredients: lactase (lactaid), alpha-galactosidase (beano), and inulinase. It's the last of these three that is unique. The only other inulinase enzyme product I'm aware of costs substantially more. Inulinase can help with the breakdown of fructans like garlic and onions that otherwise are heavily fermented in your colon, leading to IBS-like symptoms (severe bloat followed by constipation and/or diarrheas, etc.) This product definitely helps. It's not foolproof but it had a definite effect. Breaking open the capsules and sprinkling it on food may be more effective. However, what ultimately REALLY helped was stopping Omeprazole. PPI's caused my FODMAP issues and ceasing them has largely fixed my issues.

The ingredients listed on the item page (just the capsule and enzymes) do not reflect the actual ingredients in the product received (also including cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide as fillers). I tried taking it anyway, but had a strong reaction to it (intense coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing). As such, I cannot continue using it and cannot recommend it to others, at least until they amend this false advertisement.

I have had trouble digesting any garlic form until I found this. It helps me tolerate garlic.

Es funktioniert! Dank diesem Supplement kann ich wieder vieles essen. Natürlich nicht alles. Knoblauch und Zwiebeln bleiben tabu. Aber der Verzicht ist nicht mehr ganz so dramatisch, und es geht mir seither besser. Nur noch Fodzyme ist meiner Meinung nach besser. Die vergleichbaren Präparate auf dem Deutschen Markt funktionieren alle schlecht bis gar nicht.

Really helps with Sibo and bloating problems

I’ve not been able to eat food for over 5 years without being in agony afterwards for most of the month. I started using these a couple of days ago and I am virtually pain free.
