Great quality and well-built mount. I used the mount that came with the light for a few rides and was hesitant to get a fixed mount due to the angle of my seat post. But decided to give this mount a try and what a difference it made. Easy to install and holds up ride after ride. I liked it so much that I bought another one for my other bike. Highly recommend.

Item matched description and arrived in great condition. Got this as I do not care for the mount Garmin provides which is secured with rubber loops. This is clamped on to your bike and I don't have to worry about the rubber ring breaking. It comes with a collection of rubber adapters for different seat tube or frame diameters. This would not work if you have a frame or seat tube that is not round.

Works superbly with my Garmin radar on my seat post. Comes with useful shims and locks in securely while allowing for adjustment with a few turns of the screw.

The adapter shim for a 27.2 mm seatpost has an internal diameter of 23 mm and a thickness of 5mm instead of the 2.8 mm the manufacturer claims. As a result, it is impossible to attach the mount to a 27.2 mm seatpost. However, the 31.6 mm shim works on a 31.6 mm seatpost. The above review was based on a mount I purchased three years ago. I had just bought a new bike with a 27.2 mm seatpost and tried to transfer the mount to it, but was unable to get it to fit. However, since other reviews were very positive about its fit on a 27.2 mm seatpost and the product description said one of the shims would fit, I took a chance and ordered another one. This time the thickest shim fit perfectly. I don't know why I got a 23 mm shim three years ago. There could have been a mistake in packaging, or perhaps I didn't notice because at the time I was looking for something to fit a 31.6 mm seatpost. Anyway, I've updated it to five stars because it is such a vast improvement over the rubber band mount Garmin gives you.

Got this mount and a silicone cover from TUSITA, mount and the cover for the RTL515 = perfect! Didn't really want to trust such a nice device to an O-ring, and the case will help keep the mud off of it. And I'll connect a line to it, the case comes with a lanyard, I've seen a lot of bike lights on the paths, this is one you don't want to lose. This should come with the Varias. Do you really want to trust your radar, day in day out, to an O-ring.

Better quality than the original Garmin quarter turn mount. My Garmin mount broke mounting it the 1st time.

Lo compré porque el Garmin contaba casi tres veces y quería cambiar la forma de fijar el radar en el poste del asiento. El soporte con ligas me da mucha desconfianza ya que con el tiempo se resecan los o-rings y se puede caer el radar sin que uno se de cuenta. Ha funcionado perfecto y con excelente calidad.
