It’s sorta like a Leek that doesn’t feel fragile. It absolutely has the spirit of a classic swayback (see picture). The swayback warncliffe knife is one of my absolute favorite styles for edc; beautiful and functional. Warncliffe blades are among the very best at opening plastic blister packs. The straight edge makes them easy to maintain and they have a finer point than a sheep’s foot.The blade isn’t super thin or overly wide and maintains a good tip. Some warncliffe-like knives have a fragile tip (Kershaw Leek); this one is not so frail. Slices nicely without much resistance. The blade steel has held an edge very well and better than I expected. I expected it to hold up almost as well as a VG10 or 154; but now I believe it’s just as good. Most of my cutting has been packaging and leatherwork. This is absolutely one of my favorite knives!

I purchased this sway back on a whim and expected that it would go into my drawer with my modest knife collection, only coming out occasionally. Surprisingly, everything about this beautifully designed and manufactured knife is "just right" and it is now my EDC and goes everywhere with me. The manufacturing and materials quality is absolutely top-flight; this is about the most "precision" knife I own. Also, Kizer did a yeoman's job of designing this knife for pure utility. For me, this is almost the equivalent of a fidget spinner while I'm working at my keyboard, something physical to grab, hold, and touch, and I've noticed that the design and operation was not accidental -- it is perfectly designed for use, handling, safety of operation. Really wonderful design and feel in the hand, and a knife that I literally use around the house every day. Absolutely one of the best knife purchases I've ever made, and now Kizer has earned my repeat business. Great stuff, definitely a five-star purchase and without reservation.

N690 steel. Fast efficient flipper. Amazing G10 work. What’s not to like and for over half off you can’t go wrong.

I love this knife. Between the flipper open and the button lock release it is one of, if not the best, fidget fun knives in my collection. At this price point it should be considered a Must Buy.Note: I've tried all of the versions and my favorite is the G-10 button lock (purple).Positive:- Slick, fast flipper open- Smooth drop with the button lock- Button is recessed as to not mar the lines or stick out- Blade shape is perfect for opening boxes or scoring- Inexpensive enough that you don't feel bad about using it for opening boxes - I will be buying a backup- It is super easy to carry with it's small form factorNegative:- Production QC - I've bought three of these and each has slight differences in the detent. One of them was just about impossible to open with the flipper.Considerations:- Not a big fan of the colors. The G-10 button lock version is the best but I'm just not a big fan of the purple color. This is not a super popular knife (yet) so I haven't seen a lot of after market replacement scales- Small Form Factor. This is not a negative since it means I find this easier to carry (and fidget with) but I would be worried about using it for more "heavy" tasks. I just can't get a super tight grip- Materials - Would love to see this with better blade options. I would PAY MORE and gladly for better blade options. I like this knife enough to pay for a reblade if I need to in the future. Same for the scales.Just buy the Purple G-10 button lock flipper. As long as you don't get a borked detent (send back for another) it will become one of your favorite EDC knives.

This knife has assisted smooth opening. The blade is exceptionally sharp. Great color a well.

Not wild about purple but smooth easy open and close..I had boughtThe red handle before at $60..then was looking to get something forMen's gift at Christmas, saw these and now have bought several asgifts to guys that have helped me with projects. You will like the sizeand smooth operation of these knives
