Men's Regular Fit Straight Leg Jeans

I have purchased 12 pairs of Lee jeans over the last three years. All of them are hanging in my closet. I can say with some degree of certainty that Lee has changed the jeans material. The last two pairs that I've purchased do not have the same weight as the jeans purchased two years ago. The latest pair have the feel of casual pants that are cut to look like denim jeans. The older jeans have the feel and the weight of a heavier denim. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in Lees change to a lighter and evidently less expensive material. I probably will look at other manufacturers for my jeans.

I am giving one star, not for the product but for the product page. I have been wearing Lee Regular Fit Straight Leg Jeans for most of my life. I ordered one pair in the pepper prewash color which were fine (100% cotton). I made subsequent orders in other colors but what I received was a stretch fabric of cotton and spandex. No distinction is made in the product description making this product page misleading and ordering frustrating. When ordering this item you have no idea what material item is made of until it arrives at your door.

The purchase was a big disappointment. I have been purchasing this exact pair of jeans for years and now the size is magically different. We all struggle to find a good fit and good quality in jeans. There are thousands of fit variables and colors to contend with. When we finally latch onto a good quality, good fitting pair of jeans we celebrate and never give it up. I found that in these and now have lost it because the size has migrated to a larger looser fit for some unknown, unannounced reason. So the search begins again. Unbelievably frustrating and unbelievably disappointing. My last pair of Lee jeans was a five star; these are a three due to the size change. I have to imagine that a ripple of disappointment is surging through the Lee jeans community if this size change is pervasive to all Lee jeans.So back to square one; now looking for a quality and well fitting jean ... again.A minor update ...As stated in other reviews, the long standing size and material standard has changed. The material now seems to have a spandex aspect to it. The new ones don't fit, and hang baggier.

I've sought gray jeans, and I've worn other Lee men's regular fit straight leg jeans that fit me satisfactorily. These pants are sized 34W and 30L, a size that I wear. But these jeans are too wide, too long, and baggy in the thighs. Normally, I would return these Lee jeans to Amazon and not post criticism of the cut of the pants. But I have spent last night and today trying to print out a return form on my order. Amazon has me in a Catch-22 loop, automatically directing me back to the order form, where I go through the identical process of citing the problem, going through the "return" steps and my expected reimbursement. But I never see a button to print the return label. I've been unable to reach an Amazon employee to get guidance. I'm caught in this ridiculous loop that I've repeated eight times in 19 hours. The one star is for the jeans' poor cut -- and for Amazon's user-unfriendly "return" procedure.

First off, this jeans is a stretch jeans! Not what I expected, the whole jeans is stretch. furthermore, it is cut very high. The waist band wants to be closed above (!) your belly button. It looks like grandpa's farm pants.

I've been trying to find jeans that fit perfectly for a long time now. The stores I go to do not have Lee jeans but I've tried other brands and none of them are right. You know, you try them on in the store and they seem good enough but then you wear them for a day and you just aren't happy. I started buying some jeans on amazon, tried some "modern fit" Lee and I didn't like those either. Just brought them to Goodwill after one wear. Well.. I was about to give up but I tried these. They are literally perfect. Fit great, you can move around in them at work but they are not too baggy, the quality is amazing, the fabric quality is amazing, they look awesome. I bought three different colors now and all of them were good. Often if you buy a type of jean and then you get another color the fit will be totally different, but not with these! The fit was the same on all three colors, one of the colors was slightly different but that is just because the fabric was thicker, it was still acceptable and the cut of the fabric was the same.I love these, I know I can buy more in any color and I don't have to try them on in a store. Highly recommended although of course you might prefer a different cut or have a different body-type.

Though these and the Levi's were the same size with very similar descriptions, the Levi's fir me better. Please don't take this to mean I believe Levi's fit everyone better than LEE.Even with other models of Jeans, LEE have fit me better than comparable Levi's. I'd just say use your best judgement from the descriptions of any clothing and order two different pair that seem most likely to fit you. Try them on and decide which is the better fit. Do not take my experience that one model of Straight Leg Regular Fit Levi's fit me better than a similar model of LEE Straight Leg Regular Fit jeans to mean anymore that that is my experience. My body, my fit preferences, etc ... . It may be different for you.

I've always bought lee Brooklyn straight legs jeans - as you know what you are getting - a great fit and they last ages.As I could not fine many options listed for my waist & leg size the last time I ordered, I found these on Amazon.Exactly the same as Brooklyn and half the price even though direct from the states!I bought two pairs for the price of one and NOT disappointed.Previous Brooklyns made in Bangladesh and these made in Mexico ! thats the only difference I've found.And in case you are worried - NO import tax surprises either !

Jeans exactly as described, I bought a similar pair in the USA 4 years ago. This pair are exactly the same colour, Titanium and very similar fit. I like the 30” inside leg length which always fits better than most other makes that only offer 29” or 31”.Perhaps the denim is slightly thinner than the previous pair that I purchased in the USA, but very pleased overall.Price delivered via Amazon and shipped from the USA to the UK was very fair.0

I usually do not write reviews but this time I have to because of the underlying reasons.I ordered two pair of Lee jeans in two different colours light blue and beige colour of size 40W and 30L from Amazon global store for the first time since I found the price too good and as I had to gift it to someone it was just a perfect choice. When the item was sent to the recipient, I did not receive any feedback. Upon enquiry, I got the feedback th eir sizes were too big. I got the measurement done and was shocked to receive the feedback as follows; Size ordered 40W, 30L. Actual product received 44W, 30L. Interestingly the labels were correct.I have purchased many many jeans from Amazon in last few years but did not face any such issue.Therefore my honest recommendation is not to buy from Amazon global store, as return also might become a very tedious affair just as in my case.My purchase therefore will end up being given to charity and I have to buy something else. as a gift.

They were ordered as a cheap pair of jeans , needed urgently. Didn't fail on both counts. Fit was comfortable at a w34/L29. I thought that the Americans would be too generous with the denim and come up a bit large or too long. My only problem was that they didn't advertise that they are stretchy. Adds to the comfort. The second pair are beige in colour , something I been trying to get hold of from the original "Levi's 501" on Amazon but no such luck. Plumbed for second best. All in all I'm pleased with speed of delivery and the quality of the jeans.

It fits well, feels and looks good. Just one thing to be aware of is that the shade of brown is lighter than I expected from the pics.6
