GEGE281 Silicone II Kitchen and Bath Sealant, 2.8 oz Tube,

Used as a bathroom sealant and to write letters on my black socks to keep them easily in pairs. Very tightly adherent forever-don't let it get on your clothes you won't be able to get it off. Put a garbage bag over your lap and throw away latex or neoprene gloves on your hands and wear old clothes. Stays White doesn't turn yellowish. Beyond its 2-3 year exp date it will start to coagulate in even an unopened tube and will not adhere well check the exp date befote you buy or buy online from a retailer, like Amazon, whose stock moves. Very highly recommend instead of acrylic or partly acrylic.

Bought to "seal" and fix cracks, holes on our bathtub (which most of the time used by my kids). Applied, cleaned, slightly wipe off the excessive all around our bathtub, and leaving to dry overnight. To our horror next day - the white paste were still wet and stick all around our bathtub. I told my kids not to use the bathtub for next few days and had a fan to blow at the bathtub too but sadly it didnt work at all.So ended, I had to wipe the chemical white paste off with toilet rolls - over and over again for the next few days days to totally get rid of everything To make things worst, I accidentally threw the toilet papers with the white silicone paste into the toilet and some of the paste got stick inside the toilet bowl. Arggh!!!It's just a horrible mess..... very disappointed in this product

This GE Silicone II (Advanced) worked well for the baseboards near the toilet and vanity in my new house. The 10-year mold-free claim and 5X adhesion sounded good, and it should be fine for the floor area that will stay dry most of the time. I later discovered that GE has a Supreme silicone sealant with a lifetime mold-free claim and 7X adhesion. Silicone can last 20 years in a clean and dry area, so I would have chosen the Supreme sealant if I had known about it. After sealing the baseboards and around the toilet in 2 bathrooms, I ran out of product. I will get the Supreme sealant for the plumbing fixtures in my showers that need the best protection.

Holding up nicely in the shower. It dried quickly. It is supposed to give a little, where grout does not. So this is a great product for a walk-in shower where settling is at work.
