Good for 16 month olds
I got this item for my 16 month old. I showed him how to do numbers 1-5 one time and he understood right away. I bring it out about once a day and monitor him as he completes it. The product is sturdy and high quality. Itโs worth the money in my opinion. My children will be able to use it for years.

Perfect
Our five year old loves this set and itโs extremely versatile. We have used it for reading numbers; as flash cards; basic counting with the pegs; learning to write the numbers; and basic math (put the 3 and 5 together and count the pegs - makes 8!) Well made and neat appearance. 5 stars!

Overall a great buy
I love this toy! It is so well made and has no sharp edges. Very, thick, smooth, simple, and durable. I only wish it came with extra pegs and that the pegs had a tighter fit in the hole. My son is 2 and enjoys this toy, but since his fine motor skills are still being developed, other pegs sometimes fall as heโs completing the puzzles.

Perfectly Montessori!!!!
We love Montessori philosophy and try to expose my daughters to it as much as possible. My 2y old is loving this and she counts from 1-10. Wood is sturdy. Quality is as perfect as expected. Loved them and highly recommend.

So glad we bought this!
Quality peg board set. Love the storage bags that come too. We opened and played with it right away. My 2.5 year old loves it. Helps with number recognition, counting and motor skills. Shipping time was fantastic even though it wasn't a Prime item. We are one state over from where it was shipped, but it arrived before our Prime shipping items! Very happy with purchase!

Well made but came with some slight damage
Itโs beautiful and my daughters love playing with them. Took off 1 star because our 2 board has a large rough gouge along the back... along with some black smudges

Great gift!
I got this for my 2 year old son and he loves playing with them. It reinforces counting counting counting which he needs. He likes putting the pegs int he holes and sometimes just running around with the pegs.

Best toy EVER
Best toy EVER. Our 2 1/2 y.o. could count fairly high but still was not understanding the association of numbers to the amount of objects. He calls these his "Number Pegs" and he LOVES them. It only took a couple of times before he started understanding. We taught him to check his pegs when he's done and make sure he has the right number by touching each peg with his finger as he counts, it's really made a difference in his comprehension. The way the openings are set up so you can also teach addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
