Good value especially for the non-professional user.
As described and included extra faceplates. Works great. The hood material is thinner than my old helmet but the new one is also much lighter in weight which is a plus. Response is fast and the viewing area is clear when not darkened.

Miller Classic Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet - Good Entry Level / Occasional Use Welding Helmet
I have been using this auto-darkening helmet for several months now to perform both MIG and stick welding. The auto-darkening feature works great and the helmet does the job well. The only negative is that the helmet has the more economy plastic head band / adjustment which doesn't hold the helmet securely in place when moving around, perspiring...etc. If the helmet had a good quality, adjustable head band with firmer grip / hold I would give it 5 stars. For the price point though, it is a good value and will get the job done.

As a green horn to the welding industry, I love this hood! It’s very comfortable and adjustable! Even with a hat on! It’s got a good clear view and once you ignite that first weld it goes black saving you from the dredded welders eye. 10/10 would buy again! I’ve only had this hood for a few months and it’s held up perfectly!
