ONLY WORKS IN REGION B BLU RAY PLAYERS. DO NOT BUY IN AMERICA.
Hello, fellow anime fans. Yes, you probably have been looking for the Fate/Zero blu-ray at an affordable price for a long time. I know that feeling. Screw Aniplex of America.I bought this release from ebay, where the listing falsely claimed that it was a Region A release. This blu-ray release is the release from Madman Entertainment, an Australian distributor. You can see this on the back of the case, which is shown in the preview images above. While you're there, check the bottom right section of the case's back, and notice the Region B symbol, right under the blu-ray disc logo. That symbol means that you can only play these discs in blu-ray players from Europe, Africa, and Australia. When you pop one of these discs into your American blu ray player, your player will display a picture of Caster's hand grasping his Grimoire, with a giant Region B symbol overlaid on top of the image. It will say something like "this disc players in Region B only". You will be locked out of the disc, not able to watch any of it.So if you are desperate to beat the system and not support Aniplex of America (like me), you can buy this release, buy a cheap Region B blu ray player, and buy an outlet plug adapter so that your blu-ray player can use US outlets. This release will work in that blu ray player, and it will cost significantly less than if you bought Aniplex of America's overpriced release.I am giving this product 1 star because its item description is false. This is not a Region A blu ray.

One of my top 5 favourite Anime series
Fate/Zero is the definition of a compelling Anime. From its deep and interesting characters, their thought-provoking ideals and philosophies, the superb dialogue and interactions between the servants along with their masters, the riveting story and incredible animation and fight scenes, this series is a clever, creative, mature and deep series that any Anime fan should check out. The 2nd half of the series is even better than the already great 1st half, as the story builds and gets more intense.

Just plain amazing!
(same review for Pt1 and 2)I have no words to describe how amazing this anime is. The story, plot, themes, philosophies, characters: all amazing! On the technical side animation, music, editing, style, voice acting: Phenomenal! This is as close to perfect anime is it can get for me. I just had to get it on Blu-Ray, and the product does not dissapoint. I can experience this with full quality, un-cut and unscencored.I cannot recommend this enough!

Fate anime series
The first season of the Fate series, an amazing anime which combines, grace, violence, madness, hope and drama, horror, humor, chivalry, defiance, heroism, the super natural, religion and heroes of ancient times, mythology and the Arthur legend. This is one of the anime's ii like the most because of the realism of its characters, the strong story and the unavoidable and sometimes gruesome Fate which awaits the protagonists. Its an anime with several story lines, so you could say there are multiple protagonists.A must for any anime fan :)

The Blu-ray is amazing quality but you don't get anything extra
This Anime is one of the best looking shows that has come out in recent years and you should definitely get the Blu-ray if you want to buy the show but you don't get anything extra for paying as much as you do.Collection 1 and 2 cost about £25 each, £50 for the entire show, and you don't get any special or bonus features. If you only want the show than this isn't a problem but I would normally expect some audio commentaries or behind the scene features for paying this much for a product.

Has to be one of the best anime ever made
Has to be one of the best anime ever made. Fate Zero puts the original fate stay night anime to shame and creates a very endearing cast of characters that have brilliant action scenes, depth, development and discussion. We see a war for a holy grail that is very focused and smartly done as it is set between masters and servants so cuts out the large scale (and often cheesy) over the top 10,000 man wars that leads you to watch a lot of people you never cared about die and instead focus on making you care about each character.I won't say too much but if you like the idea of heroes of old having an anime flair and being brought back to fight by the magi chosen by the holy grail to have a chance to get there wish come true then this could be for you. Featuring some great production values, epic fights, great characters and nice progression it really does set itself apart from a lot of other series.
