Working just fine
I have had this approx. 2 months and it seems to be working just fine. I have had no issues. It was easy to install - once we built a flat platform for it that could handle 80 gallons. It look nice and has not leaks. At this time we would recommend this product.

Quality, Capacity, and Style all in one!
Great rain barrel! Holds 80-gallons and nicely compliments our stone patio with bronze pergola. This is important, since our corner lot is viewable from all angles and we did not want any hassle from the HOA. We also didn't want to settle for anything less than stylish. You wouldn't believe how many suggestions were shot down by our home review board (my wife). The hose connections are all solid, just be aware that you're connecting brass to plastic or plastic to plastic and take common sense precautions when setting up. Good versatility with overflow ports too. I added a water diverter from my downspout into a port (rather than terminate downspout on top of the barrel), which allows overflow to continue down the downspout and away from my foundation. I think I chose the Oatey 14209 diverter. The barrel fills up very quickly with a short rain, and 80 gallons is a lot of water. I'd purchase it again!

Poorly Made, Cut Corners on the Design
First off, as far as rain barrels go, this one is very attractive. It's also HUGE, which is nice. There are a couple of proprietary-sized tubes where you can connect other barrels. I'd rather see a standard hose adapter, especially at that price. The biggest issue is the quality of the barrel. One of the valves (Lower Drainage Valve) they give you is plastic. It's a piece of junk. The second one they give you is a nice brass one, but the brass fits into a hole that is threaded in plastic. The brass valve didn't go in easily and if you crank on it you'll quickly strip out the plastic threads and the whole thing will be worthless. They should have put a brass fitting inside of the barrel to receive the brass valve. Mine was not watertight. I'm going to try a replacement, because I really like the look of it, but I'm 90% sure it will be the same issue.

Leaked
Seam leaked upon arrival. I had to seal it before it could be used.

Happy with my purchase
I love the storage but have to agree with many of the other comments - the standing water in the plant holder is a problem the company should solve. Other than that no complaints and no defects or issues.

Classy rain barrel
As per several other reviews, in my area the crescent shaped depression advertised as a planting space is flooded every time it rains. This is OK, because I use this little sink to was the mud off my small dog's feet, and keep a scoop nearby to empty it later. Try to remember to empty your rain barrel when it is going to rain, which is like getting 2 barrels of rain. I also drain the overflowing screen going into the main space in the rain barrel soon after it rains so it does not serve as a mosquito breeding place.

Cracked and Leaking
After spending some time setting up and installing the appropriate downspout configuration to make these items work, my wife and I waited for a nice spring rain to fill our two rain barrells. We were sad when we discovered they both leaked and in different places. the first was cracked at the drain/faucet near the base of the unit and unable to be repaired or replaced. It came cracked and so the second it started taking in water it began leaking right out. The second one had a small hole in the molded hole by the faucet in the front. It was in a position that was clearly a manufacturing error. It was clear that neither of the two we ordered had been tested for leaks - otherwise quality control would have never let these two out of the warehouse. I HOPE they have a reasonable return policy or I will be utterly disgusted. Other than that, they look great. 7/8/14 update - returned old barrels free of charge and replacement barrels worked as expected. Happily collecting rainwater and using it on our garden regularly.
