I got this for my oldest not thinking much of it but it’s become a family favorite! I like that it’s more chance based so the youngest can still enjoy (and sometimes win) game nights with the rest of us. It’s very age appropriate swapping combinations for “which character can you get the most of”. The colors are bright and the pieces are durable. We’ve gotten to teach them the basics of “which is more” and counting through a game. I love being able to subtly educate them with it. Overall a great game!

This game is perfect for new board gamers! Good quality materials to withstand the learning phase, great price for the memories made and as easy to set up as picking who goes first!

I get that it's Yahtzee Jr but I feel like it's OVERLY simplified. Everybody shares one score card and you kind of fight for the top spot in each category. It's just the top half of a yahtzee score sheet 1's - 6's with pictures instead. It's not bad at all I just wish it was slightly more complicated. But it's very cute and the kids like it a lot. So much so that now I have them playing regular yahtzee too. But they still like this one. I didn't like having to apply all the stickers though. They dice couldn't come pre assembled??? I have to put 6 stickers each on 5 dice? My kids got a lot of toys this christmas and I feel like I'm doing more assembling than ever before. Kind of crazy that they couldn't put the stickers on the dice. Little expensive too for what it is. This should be a $5-8 game at most.

**FOR PARENTS OF LITTLES - this game requires you to assemble the di with stickers. If you have a kid with a sticker fixation, you should open the box and assemble alone** I'm rather surprised at the quality of this game - it's definitely not made to last. Rather than the pencil and score pad of my youth, there is a card board score card with thin card board "tokens" used to keep score. The tokens have to be punched out of a thin cardboard sheet overlayed with an even thinner paper image which was prone to tearing. The di have to be assembled according to instructions bc there are two "special" stickers, with stickers the size of the nailbed on my middle finger. The di sides are not flat, but have inward slanting edges (each side is like its own tray) so any sticker not placed dead-center is prone to peeling. Finally, and this may read like I'm a disgruntled boomer but, I do not remember the rules of Yahtzee being anywhere near this complicated. Because of the token scoring system, two people cannot have the same "score" even if they rolled the same number of characters in the same number of tries. The game is labeled for ages 4+ but the rules require a level of strategy beyond those years.

The product is fine but tossed up on wet porch. It was a Christmas gift and there was zero packaging. So much for a surprise. Very disappointed 😡

Received the box well packaged. Gift my nephew who is a spiderman fan. He loves it. Its better than puzzles !
