I just got it delivered today, and I love it! It looks even better in person than in the photos.The reason I bought this was, to replace a medium size trash can I had next to me, next to the couch area. So it is the one most used. Not really much for food, but sometimes. But lately I started having a fly problem in my room. I think cause the weather is getting cold outside. They look for shelter indoors. But now, any little food I'd throw in that trash, they'd be buzzing around me. So I needed one with a lid. I checked here on Amazon for that. Most are really small. Like 1 gallon or so. Way too small for me. Or the full size ones, like 13 gallons. And that is too big for me.I finally settled on this, cause this type of lid really closes the container. And it seemed nice looking too. The size I wasn't very sure about. I was worried it will be too small maybe. But. I found a great deal on it from Amazon used warehouse. For under $20. So I figured I'll try it. I just got it today. And I love it. The size is actually PERFECT for me. It looks beautiful. Looks to be well made too. I use mostly regular grocery shopping bags, and they fit perfectly in this one too.I'm as happy as could be with this purchase

The trash can arrived in perfect condition and on time. This is exactly what I need for my cats. I tried Litter Genie and it was just too small for my two cats. (One of them weighs 21 pounds.) This trash can is perfect - I can go a whole week before I have to empty the bin in the garbage can. I line the trash can with a medium bag. Then I scoop the waste into small bags as needed, tie them shut & put them in the bag in the trash can. When the trash can is full I tie the medium bag shut and carry it out to the garbage can. Or I can lift out the bin, and dump the bags into the garbage can. The trash can lid seals tightly, and so far no odor is getting into the room.Do not buy 4 gallon bags for this 3.17 gallon trash can - they are too small. Five gallons would be better. I purchased 8 gallon bags at the Dollar General Store - they are a little too big - but work well (and are cheap.) Picture 1 is with a 4 gallon bag and picture 2 with the 8 gallon bag.Now I am looking for biodegradable bags to make this the perfect litter box solution.

I really like this product. I purchased two, one for my business bathroom and one for my home bathroom. It is the 4gal size, and is just perfect. Many like this one is only 2 gal, but this size is idea, not too large for a small bathroom and not too large.Nice quality, not a top of the line quality, but a basic quality and foot press works well also.

The can is very attractive and the shape is good to put against a flat surface. I was unable to get the lid to stay up without using my hands however. The instructions are confusing. The instructions mentions pushing, but does that mean it has to be done with your hands or is there a way to keep the lid up without using your hands.

I use this to put sanitary pads in, near a portable pot. This prevents odors from getting out and emptying it is easy because of the plastic pail that easily lifts out. The foot pedal lifts the lid and both hands are free to deposit the refuse into it or taking it out.

About the size of a TJ bag, and about as big as you can get before plastic grocery store bags wont fit anymore. Works perfectly and hides the bag well (i'm using grocery store bags), doesn't tip over when you push the pedal, and has a nice rubber band mechanism to keep the bag in place. Really like it overall.

Have had this for 9 months & love it for its fit under the deep twin sink space. (Area so small that this unit was my only choice in a stainless steel, covered trash can.) The surface will smudge, but cleans up easily & looks brand new. My main negative is the lack of handles with which to move it, although I imagine these were left off to maintain the can's slim profile. I use the protruding hinge at the back to pull it out from under the sink & so far, the hinge shows no sign of wear & tear. I have found that the can edge often causes small slits in 0.7mm thick bags at their upper edge when pulled from the can, though not enough to make the bags unusable. I will get heavier bags in the future. BTW the model I have does not have a motion sensor.

I like this trash can and it’s good for the price. I bought it on amazon knowing the original packaging was damaged at a discounted rate. But the trash can itself was also damaged, I guess, as there is discoloration/peeling along the lid. It’ll serve its intended purpose, but won’t do so as pretty as I’d hoped.
