Ok for what it is.
The book is lacking good goetia material. First off there is no lbrp or brh in the book. Also there are no conjurations, you are told to find them yourself. the thing i like about the book is the goetia yellow pages. Also the watchtower ritual he gives most of it.this is a nice little book to read and put on the shelf. If you want to learn goetia then get modern magick by Kraig. he goes through all the rituals.

A non-traditional approach to spirit work from a modern Thelemic perspective
Let me start this review by saying what this book is NOT. It is not a book for those wanting to explore the traditional methods of conjuration outlined in either the Ars Goetia or the Enochian system of John Dee and Edward Kelly. The author shows he is very well familiar with the older sources, but is coming at the material from a point of view highly influenced by later the magical paradigms of the Golden Dawn and Thelema and has devised his system and methods accordingly. While I personally disagree with many of his assertions, I will nevertheless say that I still think this manual is far better than most such modern approaches., Snuffin presents his material in a very clear, easy to follow manner, and is very open and honest about the changes he's made and his reasons for them. His approach is very straightforward and simple, and should be easy for anyone with a basic training in a Golden Dawn or Thelemic based system to follow. The author argues for a more amicable approach to dealing with spirits than some conjurors who essentially treat spirits as unpaid servants who only exist to do the magicians bidding. His examples of personal workings are intriguing and instructive. His "Goetic yellow pages" that list spirits according to their powers and areas of expertise is useful and well organized.I do strongly disagree with his take on both necessary tools and his utter disdain for astrology and timing for ritual as I think he approaches both without a clear understanding of their roles in spirit relationships, but this attitude is not uncommon among GD/Thelemic magicians. The Enochian material is again solidly based on the Golden Dawn and Crowley's adaptations of the original material, and may irk some traditionalists. It's been a while since I've worked any Enochian material, but I once again enjoyed the very straight-forward and clear outlines that make the book very easy to put into practice. In all I would definitely recommend this book for people operating in a modern Golden Dawn or Thelemic paradigm and want to try working with spirits from within that approach. The book is easy to use, clearly written and focused on practical work.

Clear, concise and highly accessible
The Complete Conjuring Spirits is a clear, concise and infinitely helpful guide to evocation for the DIY-hearted. Casting aside traditional models for Archangelic, Goetic and Enochian evocation, Snuffin introduces alternative methods, shortcuts, and Thelemic techniques to really cut to the heart of the matter and make evocation accessible. While not short on theory, the book is definitely meant to surpass would-be armchair magicians and get readers out there and practicing. I have personally used the methods within and found them very helpful indeed. I highly recommend this book.
