I always use San Marzano tomatoes for my cooking as they have a lovely deep flavour and must better than other brands.

This could be used for so much buy i use it for making unbelievable pizza sauce. I won't buy anything else

These tomatoes are sweet, rich and have that classic San Marzano taste that really elevates homemade dishes — perfect when you want something that tastes genuinely good rather than plain tinned tomatoes. The packaging is sturdy and easy to open. My only honest feedback would be that the price feels a bit high at the moment. I’d love to see it a bit lower so it’s an even better value for regular home cooks like me. Other than that, great product and I’ll keep buying them!

I hadn't heard of this brand before (Eat Wholesome), but apparently the've been going since 2014, selling UK and Canada. I'm pretty happy with the cans I got. They taste good and seem good quality San Marzanos. The brand is not the cheapest, but when you look at other sites selling this brand, Amazon was the cheapest place to get them.

Yes they’re pricey, but absolutely worth it. Genuine DOP accredited. Tins are packed with tomatoes covered in sauce, not watery like UK cheap supermarket tomatoes. If you’re cooking a slow red pasta sauce you’ll need to fish them out the tin and cut up as they are extremely robust and don’t break down easily in a sauce. You can also whip up a tin in the food processor with some trimmings to make a wonderful gazpacho.

Sehr gutes Produkt, kein vergleich zu den ganzen Produkten die man im Handelsüblichen Supermarkt bekommt. Sehr Aromatisch, man braucht kaum würzen

Zunächst möchte ich die Lieferung bewerten: Als der Bote bei mir ankam, habe ich den Türöffner betätigt, damit er das Gebäude betreten kann. Ich wohne im vierten Stock und bemerkte, dass der Bote im dritten Stock kehrtmachte, um das Gebäude zu verlassen. Ich rief ihm von oben zu, dass ich im vierten Stock bin und er nicht einfach gehen solle. Der Bote wirkte daraufhin sichtlich genervt. Um die Situation zu entschärfen, kam ich ihm entgegen. Erst nachdem er bemerkte, dass ich blind bin, bot er an, das Paket doch noch hochzubringen, was ich jedoch ablehnte. Leider ist dies kein Einzelfall bei Amazon Logistics. Wenn man einen solchen Job annimmt, sollte man damit rechnen, dass auch mal Treppen zu steigen sind. Allerdings ziehe ich hierfür keinen Stern ab, da es mir in dieser Bewertung um das Produkt selbst geht und nicht um den Lieferservice. Als Koch kann ich diese Tomaten uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ich habe sie für eine Bolognese-Sauce verwendet, und der Geschmack ist absolut unvergleichlich mit anderen Dosentomaten, ob Bio oder nicht. Diese Tomaten überzeugen durch ihren süßlichen Geschmack und eine besondere Aromatik. Der Preis von knapp 40 € für zwölf Dosen mag auf den ersten Blick hoch erscheinen, zumal es sich nicht um ein Bio-Produkt handelt, was den Preis vielleicht rechtfertigen würde. Doch wer diese Tomaten einmal probiert hat, wird schnell verstehen, warum sie teurer sind. Der aufwendige Anbau rechtfertigt den Preis durchaus. Ich kann dieses Produkt wärmstens empfehlen. Die Tomaten bieten einen außergewöhnlichen Geschmack und sind vielseitig einsetzbar, sei es für Saucen, Suppen oder andere Gerichte. Ich werde sie definitiv regelmäßig nachkaufen und meine Vorräte auffüllen. Der Preis mag hoch sein, aber der Geschmack rechtfertigt ihn voll und ganz.
