I purchased this MIXGOO 12V 3A Power Supply Charger as a replacement for the original power adapter, and it has performed flawlessly. From the moment I plugged it in, it worked exactly as expected. This power supply is to be used as a back up supply and for travel. As soon as it came in I connected it to my husbands new laptop and it worked perfectly. We will be using it on a trip in the near future so we will see how that goes, but I don't expect any problems. It comes with 3 adapters for different sized power ports on various computers and devices which will be very handy if we need it for something else, although there aren't many devices that require a 12 volt power supply and I was very surprised that the laptop did.

Plug and play

I don’t think this power supply is delivering its rated output. The original unit powered four CCD cameras without issue, but this replacement—though listed with the same specifications—cuts in and out under the same load. When I unplug one of the cameras, it works fine, which suggests the transformer isn’t actually capable of supplying the stated power.
