Simple and easy protection for my feet
This is nice and simple to wear and protection for my feet while working on the home project. As I install some racks in the garage with wrench and plier, this steel toe guard can protect my toe and feet without getting hurt from tools falling. it is worth getting a pair if you plan to work on some home projects.

Great idea. Severe lack of quality. Misleading title.
I loved the idea of having overshoe guards that were detachable. I could apply them to lighter, more maneuverable shoes over steel toe boots which can be hard on your feet if you have to walk around a lot on the job, like myself. Sounds like a great idea. These miss the mark pretty hard.First off, these aren't made of steel like the title hints at. They're made of easily bendable aluminum. The underside of the guards that actually sit on your shoe are made with a really cheap foam that started showing severe signs of wear-and-tear after ONE use when I strapped them to my work boots.Secondly, you can't just mount these to any pair of shoes. They have to have a heel with enough clearance so you can fasten them to your soles without the springs dragging on the ground. That's not to say these don't offer protection - they do - but don't expect to use them for long periods of time in intense work environments due to the low quality and design flaws. At FORTY DOLLARS, that is unacceptable. You might as well just invest in a sturdy pair of Sketchers work boots that will last longer and protect your feet all the same.If there is one thing in life you should never cheap out on - it's your shoes.
