This is actually a really nice quality item for it's price. I got this for my very narrow and small desk to use as a replacement computer chair. I chose this because it saves space by sliding under the desk and it also has a narrow but still generous enough space compartment under the seat. I put my tiny computer related items in there because my space saving desk has no drawer. I really like this item for an extra seat too for guests. It holds a decent amount of weight because I'm 200 and a male so it might even hold over that. The key thing is to still be gentle with the legs on carpet at least. No sliding it unless holding the legs or both sides of the top or scooting in to wherever you're sitting at. It's best to shift the bench by getting off of it first and manually moving it with your hands. That's just my advice as precaution though. It was so simple to assemble but a bit of a tight fit for the tool given for one corner of where a leg needs to be placed but it's doable and the point is all you have to put together on it are four legs. That's amazing and I was done in about 15 minutes only because of the balancing act of having to open the seat compartment to see inside where the attachments go through to and need to be tightened. It's also quite tall so it's perfect as a seat for almost anything including a table and for adults. I also felt the seat padding was strong and nice looking but it did smell strong of chemicals in my opinion. Still not a deal breaker because it went away real fast as I was putting it together...or maybe I got used to the smell? I would recommend this to family and I did pay for this with my own money in full. I know how hard it is to know what to buy. If you're looking for something truly of quality and looks don't bother but if you're looking for something to resemble that and not break from some weight but be affordable then get this. If you also want something quick but functional and cheap then again this is it. I think it doubles as a vanity seat too if a lady needed a more sturdy one and didn't mind the masculine look to it. My wife loves it and wants to use the desktop more because of it. It's a fun minimalistic style and something we usually don't have in our home. It's not the best out there but one of the best cheap ones out there. The shipping was great and no damage was on the box or the item. I have primes so it got here fast but even with prime it doesn't matter until it ships and then it's two days after that. Well this shipped fast so that's a plus too. Hope I helped because I'm trying to go back and review all my items I have gotten or at least the recent ones because I rely on reviews and photos so I don't waste money. So I think I can give back.

Well made, about 5 minutes to assemble. Very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for in my walk-in closet. The seat height is perfect, love the wide width. Plus the storage under the seat. Feels very solid & easy to move around as it isn’t too heavy for my 74 years.

This is a great bench. Very sturdy. The bench is soft to sit on, very comfortable. Storage bench could be a little deeper but still very adequate. Easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

There are a variety of duet piano bench options on Amazon in the $40 to $80 range, and I selected this one because it reviewed pretty well and had the aesthetic I wanted. I should note that most of the things that caused me to deduct one star in my rating simply were not that big of a deal to me. For example, the black paint finish was not perfect, and despite being wrapped and protected very well in the box, there were some light-colored nicks and chips on the edges. I actually touched most of these up with a black Sharpie - again, was not expecting perfect. And the padded cushion is softer than a hard surface, but not exactly "pillow-soft" if you are looking for that. Also, there was a unsightly white sticker inside the bench, and when I removed it, it either damaged or revealed an unpainted portion of the bottom tray where music would be stored. Not ideal, but I will probably just cut a thin piece of rubber drawer liner to give the bottom a nicer look anyway. Other than those complaints, the bench is very sturdy and was not a hassle to assemble. My Roland digital piano has a narrow profile, and this fits nicely underneath. So, generally speaking, it looks like it should hold up and serve its purpose for a reasonable price.

This is a small bench I've used as a vanity bench due to it having the proper height for my situation. It's very nice and sturdy, but smallish. I would buy it again, but be aware it might not be for heavier ladies.

So far, the bench works very well for my 8 year old. She has used it twice since we assembled it yesterday. The assembly was fairly easy, though someone with large hands might find working in such close quarters uncomfortable. My fingers kept bumping into the corners. My fingers are rather small. Its just a slight inconvenience. The bench is sturdy. All legs are the same length, and the bench is solid on flat ground. The storage compartment is rather small. The length holds two John Thompson Music Theory workbooks, laid top to bottom. The width just fits the workbooks, with maybe an inch of extra space. A half inch thick, three ring binder fits the depth with two thin books on top. We laid a liner along the bottom to keep the black dye from wearing unto the music materials. The lid closes smoothly. My 8 year old loves that it closes quietly. There is an air gap between the storage compartment and lid, which I appreciate. The bench did smell when unpacking it, but its starting to dissipate. I really liked the fact that the bench came packaged with just enough to keep it safe during delivery. The legs may need a bit of paper wrapping, as one was slightly scratched. However, as I assembled the bench I noticed it was very dirty/dusty. It took several wipes to clean it. Every time I wiped the storage compartment base the rag kept turning black. I think its just a dye problem. However, the legs and outside took three wipes each before the rag was not grayish. Once cleaned up the bench works great, it looks great.

No se requieren instrucciones para armar ya que es muy sencillo y trae una llave para poder armarlo así que tampoco se necesitan herramientas. Venía en excelentes condiciones al desempecarlo. Indica que es para dos personas pero creo que estaría muy ajustado para dos. El espacio para guardar libros y partituras es amplio. En cuanto a la altura es aceptable pero para una persona pequeña creo que si quedaría ligeramente alto.

Very happy with this bench! Comfortable, and the right height for me to use with my Yamaha P-85 digital piano, on it's L-85 Keyboard stand. Fairly easy to put 2gether by yourself, but 4 hands would have been easier. Came with great packaging. The seat and top were already put together, and the legs were inside the seat, and so was all of the hardware (bolts, washers, etc), and it came with its' own wrench to tighten up the bolts to attach the legs. Wouldn't say it is a duet bench for 2 adults at the same time, as it isn't quite long enough, but very stable for one adult. It had "plastic pins" on the bottom of the wooden legs, but I added felt, so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. The flip top works great, and I could store almost all of my music books. Very happy!

Landed up late. Patiently waited thinking it comes all the way from Europe. On assembly found that there is no place to fasten the hinge of the seat.Screw is there but nothing to tighten it into. Looked carefully and discovered it is made in CHINA. Would I recommend it. Certainly not.
