Coming from the default Poseidon X seat, this thing is great!
I bought a 2022 Poseidon X and had been using the default seat - which was a great width for my seat bones but really put a lot of pressure on the perineum. I was looking for a split saddle thinking it would offer the most relief however the Spoon seems to have overwhelming support in the community for a low cost saddle so I thought I'd give it a shot. The community is not wrong. It feels just a little bit wider than the base Poseidon X seat from a seat-bones perspective. I'm not sure if one is better than the other - just different. However, the pain I was 'saddled' with from the Poseidon seat is completely gone with the Spoon. I ride daily, mostly short stints of 7 to 12 miles, generally without a chamois and I have no issues with pain of chafing.I highly recommend the Spoon.

Probably the best seat for the money
This would be five stars on a cost-effectiveness rating. I doubt I could find another seat this comfy for the price. I've had lots of seats costing 3 - 4 times as much that hurt. Of course, your butt may vary.My main complaint is the nose is pointy, so when I stop and put a foot down, it pokes me in the back of the thigh. If you have a cruiser and can put a foot down while still on the saddle, that may not matter. Also, the material is a bit grippy. I like that, but if you like to shift around without lifting up, you may not. For long rides, I'd prefer just a tad more resiliency in the padding.

Not much different from stock
Hard seat that isn't any better than what came stock on a budget hardtail. Also lettering is in red which isn't what is shown and not matching my bike correctly.

For the money it can't be beat !
I received my seat and immediately put it on and went riding. Easy set up, very light weight construction but looks and feels very well made. The seat doesn't seem that soft or even look like it would be comfortable but let me tell you it is awesome. Very comfy and I rode for almost two hours with not pain at all on my mountain bike. My stock seat was terrible so I have been looking for a new seat and I researched it for quite awhile. This seat got great reviews and for the price I paid it was totally worth it.

More comfortable than the seat that came from the bike (Crossrip 1) and a great looking, well priced addition to the bike.

Comfy and light
Great saddle, very comfortable, and lightweight. I have this saddle on 2 out of 4 bikes I own, the others I have the fizik arione. I use the charge Spoon for general commuting and recreational riding between 3 to 26 miles in distance. Everyone's anatomy is different in regards to sit bones and how much padding your body already has, but I've never had a problem with this saddle yet when it's positioned properly on seatpost, at the right height for your leg extension, proper fore-aft position over the cranks, and completely level, no tilt. I can ride this saddle without bike shorts for short distances, but for trips over 7 miles I'd recommend wearing an 8-panel chamois bike short to prevent soreness.Mercier Kilo TT with Charge SpoonRaleigh Talus 2.0 with Charge Spoon

o.k.
not bad but not like some have said. it surely is not a super premium saddle like some claim, equivalent to a brooks. it seems sturdy enough we shall see. chrmo rails are nice, manufacture seems fine. the vinyl covering has a slight texture making it hard to shift around.if thats what you like then great. i am not impressed nor unimpressed, you get what you pay for. went from an old vetta leather (italian made)saddle that after 20 some years gave out, guess i got spoiled. there is no comparison. all in all for the price its good for commuting, paved trails, the park etc.thats about it but should last a decent amount of time. 3 1/2 stars is what its worth.

and the super padded and spring loaded aftermarket one I tried as ...
Forth saddle I've tried so far, and I think we have a winner. Mind you I'm new to cycling so my knowledge may be limited, but my rear is the true judge. Granted 2 of the past saddles were stock saddles that came on the bikes, but one was a high end Trek. That one came in second place. This definitely beats the Schwinn, and the super padded and spring loaded aftermarket one I tried as well. Turns out more padding is actually worse. It really seems to be more about the shape. The long skinny worked much better for me than wide and cushioned. I tend to ride on paved and crushed gravel paths for distances of up to 40 miles currently. The minute I switched out to this seat, there was a noticeable difference. My rear was already tender from a recent ride and still hurt. Resting on this one targeted a different area and gave me relief. I was able to ride again much sooner thanks to this saddle. I came across this from a youtube reviewer who was showcasing alternatives to the legendary B-17. I had considered going that route due to the B-17's reputation, but it's heavy price tag made me unsure. For the price, I can't be more satisfied with the Charge Spoon. So far I've put about 60 miles on it, and have no where near the issues I've had on the other seats that bothered me within five miles.

So pleased I am buying another
I bought this to replace the expensive saddle on my equally expensive Giant road bike, which was so uncomfortable I couldn't ride it for more than an hour. As I wont be riding the carbon bike over the winter, I fitted the new Spoon to my Cube 29er mountain bike, which also comes with an uncomfortable perch. I rode this for forty miles on Monday, wearing bib tights with poor padding, on and off road, and can report that I was still comfortable at the end of it. Of course, this being a sports saddle, it will never feel like your favourite armchair. In addition to conditioning yourself to this type of saddle, wearing padded shorts, easing your weight off the saddle every 15 to 20 minutes, and using a 'chamois' cream for rides over 30 miles, will help ensure a comfortable experience. This saddle is on a par with the one supplied with my Fuji Sportif, which I can ride for five hours before it starts to feel hard. I shall be ordering another for the Giant.

I love this saddle!
best saddle ever ... end of.bought a new bike ... rode it for 6m ... grated my arse ... stupid, lightweight, razor-like piece of dirt mtb saddles. the stock one on my bike is worth 3x the spoon ... and does weigh a little less ... but my butt loves the spoon charge. nice and roomy, plenty of padding in the right places, great hard-wearing and breathable materials and at a price that is hard to believe .. I love this saddle!
