I needed a window covering for the window above my kitchen sink and after 9 years I finally found The One. The afternoon summer sun on this window is brutal, even with Gila film on the glass and "room darkening" blinds. I was also using blackout curtains but they were a pain in the butt and fabric + heavily used kitchen sink = nothing good. This shade blocks out the sun for sure, and I'm hoping it will block or at least minimize the heat that comes through in the summer months. I guess I'll find out soon. The hardware is not attractive so I made a valance to hang over that part and it looks great. Now to replace every blind in my house with these is my next home improvement mission. Far less expensive and easier than replacing all the windows with more efficient ones.

Bought 3 blackout shades, room darkening rolled up shade to replace fabric curtains. Overall quality is excellent; products are as described; light blocking, sun protection, and room darkening. Installation is easy and smooth, just following the instruction menu. Easy to pull up and self-rising. The mechanism of the gearwheel is smooth and steady. The fabric feels rich with texture. Will definitely recommend to buy again.

The pictures show a blackout and a light filtering option in white, beige, and gray. When you select your specific shade, you only have options of colors. I ended up with a blackout instead of a light filtering shade. Disappointed in the confusing ad as it seems misleading because there is no light filtering option.

I don't typically write very negative reviews, but this shade was awful and very cheaply made. The item came opened with hardware falling out all over the place. The directions are just picture directions and wrong (it says "10 cm" when it probably should say "10 inches"). The hardware is cheap and doesn't feel secure whatsoever. I've installed many blinds and curtains in my lifetime and this is by far the worst.

I was so hesitant about getting these because of the price being so reasonable. I’ve looked for months to find shades that were self install, nice quality and a reasonable price (WHY do we have to pay so much for something that cost relatively low to produce (I don’t want to pay more for one window shade than I would for my living room carpet)) and then I came across these and now have them in our movie room (black) and bedroom (beige). I started with the movie room to make sure I liked the quality (black out, glides perfect, 1000% will stop wherever you hand leads it, and I didn’t want it to look like a projector screen) and these are perfect- really love the black for a movie room! I even was hesitant about getting a lighter color for fear of projector screen, but I opted with the beige (pictured) and I like it even more, especially for a bed room! I’ll probably put the beige in our guest room- probably will order now actually. Lol. THANK YOU!! 👏🏻

The shade does block out the light very well, and the we’re fairly easy to install, I only took a star away because it took them two week to arrive, not because it took that long to travel from the shipper to my house, but they didn’t ship them until the Leo weeks after I ordered them, just for them to ship them overnight, lol. BUT the product is great! All said, I would order more shades from them!

Absolutely fantastic. It was easy to install, and makes it almost like night with a pull of the shade.
