Awesome
I'd been thinking about getting a resin printer after enjoying my fdm ender 5 Pro. What a great purchase, easier to use and ready to go straight away. The instructions could be better but once you figured out the levelling it's an amazing machine.

Noobie Struggles to get first print to work
I bought some Anycubic Black resin, levelled the bed, poured it in and printed the Voxelab Deer on the supplied USB stick. After a couple of hours, it became obvious that the print had failed. The was something in the vat; i could feel it with the plastic scraper. It was stuck firm to the FEP sheet. I massaged the back of the FEP film with my finger thru a tea towel and could feel it beginning to release. Got it off and it was the oval base of the deer, about 2mm thick. Discarded. Some guy on youtube said, make sure you wet the back of the build plate before you begin (i didnt do this)The machine is noisy on the stepper as it just has the basic driver A4988. Some guy on Youtube wired in a silent stepper stick and the difference was amazing. They only cost about £5 so well worth it IMO.Fan is noisy too. Hence dropping one star.UPDATEMachine is printing perfectly now and I've had some great results with it.

Sent me a broken printer.
Received a printer with a ruined LCD straight out of the box, going to stick with Elegoo instead now on.

be careful when you order a black Proxima that that is what you receice
When I ordered my Proxima, I ordered a black one to match my Polaris printer, but Lo and Behold when I unpacked the machine I had been sent a white one (seems they have been doing this to people without saying anything), now me being relatively new to the 3D printing arena didn't know that there was a difference in the 2 machines UNTIL I had it all set up and went to print one of my files. This is where it starts to get fun......NOT, come to find out, the white Proxima's only see .svgx files it does not recognize the .fdg files (which all my files are because that is what the Polaris printer uses) after asking around on various 3D printing forums I find out that FlashForge decided to change the boards in the proxima printer, now even their own sample file the include (which has to be converted from .fdg to .svgx) comes out like garbage with so many supports added (and no instructions on how to work with them) that you destroy the model just trying to clear them( see included pix). Now Flashforge does not handle customer support for these since they have the Voxelab name on them(even though they are the ones selling them) and Voxelabs support (called "Aftersales") is one of the worst customer supports I have ever seen, all they want to do is run you around in circles. Sorry for the lengthy read but this had to be said. the machines are well built and very quiet when running. OK rant over

Great price for an entry level Mono screen resin printer
I have several other printers, for the price, and an entry into resin printers, this little mono screen printer is hard to beat. a division of Flashforge, it is very well built. My first FDM printer 6 years ago was a Flashforge Creator X, still going strong.

Great price, but a bit misleading
I normally don't write reviews but I felt it was necessary in this case. This is my first resin printer. I knew that there will be issues with learning a new system. However When i bought this they claimed that Chitubox and Lychee could be uses. This would be accurate if you bought this printer a year ago. They have since updated their main board so it no longer uses the .fdg format and now uses .svgx sounded simple to me. but this small change means that you cant use the most common slicers on the market. You HAVE to use their slicer witch is horribly optimized. My best guess is they didn't really care to make it but felt it was needed. It does allow the printer to work but is a pain anytime you want to use it. Also i feel a bit cheated on it since they specifically advertise that it works with the other slicers. To play devils advocate technically yes it does as long as you are lucky to get the older board. And one last nit pick, they don't give an option for color on this page and i didn't see one on their website either. but mine came in white. Which doesn't bother me but, is odd that they choose the color for you. Especially since some people may not care for white or specifically wanted the darker color one.I did do a test print and it came out ok, I only received it a day ago and spent most of my time trouble shooting the file issue. But did manage to print out the voxelab deer and used stock settings and it came out ok.
