Phenomenal product, stopped a thumb nail cut from an angle grinder in 90 seconds! I had to remove the photo, it was apparently too graphic for Amazon . I was wearing heavy leather gloves and safety glasses trimming a broken 6 inch schedule 40 pipe with a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder. The blade bound up for a second and then released right over my thumb. It would not stop bleeding. I washed it vigorously with soap and water and held a sterile pad on it for 5 minutes with a lot of pressure and it kept bleeding because I hit the vascular nail bed. I bought Bleedstop months ago for the shop and I was really happy I had it available. Bleedstop looks like white flour but it has incredible utility for cuts. I packed it into the wound and within 90 seconds, zero bleeding. I put a bandaid on it overnight. I removed the bandaid the following AM, washed the cut again with soap, water and Betadine. No blood. I added a bit more Bleedstop and a new bandage. Amazing product, must have for any shop, kitchen or general emergency blood loss situation.

Great first aid tool. Comes in handy for scrapes, cuts or deep wounds, until you can get to the emergency room.

This bleedstop is a life-saver for my FIL. He is on bloodthinners and is always bleeding everywhere. This is the only thing we have tried that actually works! The powder is better than the gel, but the gel is also nice. Works great and stops bleeding quickly. A miracle when you really need it.

Bought this for our church triage medical kit. Box was a little crush when i got it however, packets were find inside. This is an item you hope you don't have to use. If we do I'll boost to 5 stars.

I'm on blood thinners so I need this in my pack. I was fishing and I dropped a fillet knife that bounced into my ankle. It was bleeding pretty good. I sprinkled some blledstop on and it quit right away. I would suggest having this on hand.

I only had to use it once so far but it worked great on trail boo-boos. I leave them in my pack for emergencies. Lightweight and easy to carry.

I have been on blood thinners for many years and just recently read about this product. I recently really injured myself and I honestly feel that this product saved my life. I had a pretty bad gash in my leg and basically took a whole box of it to clot since the bleeding was profuse . It allowed me time to call 911. I recommend this highly. I also think that anybody who’s taking blood thinners spread the word this really should be something that when you start taking blood thinners your doctor should tell you about, but we don’t hear about that. I purchased a box in December 2024 and its expiry date is August 2030 (I doubt it gets better than this) * It is FDA cleared as a hemostatic powder and is approved for moderate to severe bleeding, including nosebleeds.
