Question 1

Do these stands add any "color" to the sound? I'm aware that the surface that speakers rest on can impact the sound of them, so does that happen here?

Accepted Answer

Dear Customer,
Thanks a lot for the question!
HOPWELL desktop speaker stand can improve the quality of the sound.
One of the main benefits of a desktop speaker stand is that it can help to isolate the speakers from the surface they are sitting on, which can reduce vibrations and resonance that can negatively impact sound quality. This is especially true if the surface is not stable or if it vibrates easily, such as a desk made of thin or lightweight material.
Another potential benefit of a desktop speaker stand is that it can help to position the speakers at the optimal height and angle for listening. This can help to ensure that the sound is directed towards the listener's ears, rather than bouncing off of surfaces and causing distortion or other issues.

Question 2

Does it preserve/bring the bass of of speakers?

Accepted Answer

Dear Customer,
Thanks a lot for the question!
Yes, it can preserve the bass of speakers. Stands help eliminate reflections, You don’t want desktop surfaces close to your speakers, as desktop can cause early reflections that distort the sound image. The most impactful benefit of getting stands is added distance between your speakers and desktops. It keeps early reflections to a minimum. And that’s especially important for the speakers’ low-end performance. Rubber feet also come with the stands to preserve the bass of speakers.

Question 3

Will Klipsch r-51 fit on these?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most likely they would be too small for the size of the speaker. It would result in the speaker being unstable while on the stand. This would be a choice that I would not make..

Question 4

What is the height of the stand. Not the width, not the length as previously given, But the height?

Accepted Answer

Dear Customer,
The height of the stand is 5 inches.
