Prime-Line H 3893 Universal, Satin Bronze, Tee-Crank Casement Window Handle (2 Pack)

Love this window handle! It was an easy replacement for the old missing one that came with the house. I didn’t even need to measure anything—the kit includes adaptors for all common sizes, making the installation quick and hassle-free.

I wanted to hang some blinds over a window that had two sections that open with crank handles. I was afraid the blinds wouldn't be able to hang right due to how far the handles stuck out. These wore perfect replacements and had a much lower "profile". There was a set of inserts that matched with my original handles making these be able to turn and open my windows perfectly. Very happy I found them. They don't interfere at all with how my blinds hang.

This looks so much better than the handle crank and now my blinds go down all the way. There is a bit of play that I would have like to not be there. Easy to do.

When we changed our kitchen faucet, we also needed to replace the window crank. This butterfly crank works great. It comes with several inserts so it was easy to find the one that worked with our window. It took very little time or effort to make the change. Now it is much easier to open and close this awning window. Would buy again if needed for other windows.

There are two problems with this item. First, and most importantly, the inner collet, the part that engages with the crank stem, is made of plastic. It isn't strong and even on the first crank I could feel it sliding as the plastic immediately stripped against the crank stem gear. The second problem is a design issue. The placement of the screw on the T-handle made it difficult to tighten. The screw on other similar replacement cranks is perpendicular to the T, not inline with it as this one is. It makes it very hard to get a screw driver in there to cinch it down well.

They work fine as long as your window opens and closed smoothly. If you get to a spot where you have to turn it hard to finish closing the window or start opening it, then the plastic inside will strip.

Comes with several sizes of inserts for perfect fit.

This was a perfect replacement for the original handle. I installed a tall more modern faucet and the original handle wouldn’t work, this was a great solution!

I liked exterior color which was bronze and that metal part seemed sturdy enough and the low profile was perfect. However, not one of the plastic adapters worked for my casement windows. I definitely do not recommend this product. 2 of the adapters fit the interior spindle, but neither had enough grip to make handle functional enough to open the window. The plastic adapters don’t have enough grip and easily strip making adapter useless & handle useless. I will be returning the product.
