This silk yarn feels soft and great against the skin. I knit a lightweight scarf out of it. Because the yarn is very fine, I used two strands throughout. The yarn comes in loose skeins that need to be wound into balls. I did this carefully with the yarn loop draped around the back of a soft leather chair, as the yarn would tangle and knot if several loops came off the skein at once. If the manufacturer sold this yarn already wound, that would save much time and some aggravation untangling knots. Since I was knitting with double yarns, I kept each ball in its own small plastic bag to avoid tangles. Even so, several loops would come off a ball and instantly knot. However, the silk yarn is strong and never ripped, so be patient working out any knots--they gradually come out. The silk scarf washed and blocked beautifully, and the finished scarf has lots of ease and drape because of the stretchy nature of silk yarn and the open stitch pattern. I was very pleased with my finished product!

I have been looking for 100% silk yarn for many years. This is the first time I've ever seen it and am so happy to find it and will be ordering more in the future. It is really nice, but a little thinner than what I was hoping to find, but I spooled it into two balls and will be crocheting it double thickness. I never have learned how to read the thickness measurements of yarn or wire. I'm creative! I don't do numbers! Great delivery of the product!

There was no indication of the thickness of the fiber. There was only a small sheen which by the photo you couldn't tell

This is Beautiful silk yarn/string... And, it's in a contition that one can do Anything with it!

This yarn is beautiful. It is so soft & very shiny. I have not worked with it yet, but excited to do so.
