I love the options of brightness and being able to place the light right where I need it but be careful with the charger port, I put in my charger cord and the port went inside of the unit, it is not adhered good

This item was recommended to me for traveling with my yarn projects. It's perfect for up close work and can see how using it as a book light would be great too. I prefer the daylight brightness setting.

Even though this light is advertise as a neck /book light; I have found it to be so much more. I use it for those tight places that light switches/bulbs just don't seem to shine. Because of the bendable material one can maneuver the light in so many directions and still be on your neck or on some other solid object. Today CeSunlight had it's ultimate test. Somewhere there was a blown transformer. The neighborhood heard it. The lights went out. It was just about 6:30 p.m. and I knew the night was coming so I had my light already around my neck so I went and grabbed two more ore my neck lights. They were charged and ready!! My neighbor as all the other neighbors came out on their porches to see if others lights we out. I asked her, "You got your light?" She said , "Yes." I gave her one for Christmas. We won't be in the dark. I left a light on in the Livingroom and forgot about it. the electricity came on about 1.5 hours later. I did not come downstairs until 8+ hours after the electricity was restored. I actually forgot about the light. It was still shinning bright!! OMG!! Keep them in your house, office, car, garage, kitchen, bedroom, nursery or any time you think a power loss may happen. Be ready. I was!

This reading light has a bright enough light, but the hard plastic power pack is hard on the neck if you're reading in bed. So, it works -- but it is uncomfortable. As a light, mine worked fine until it didn't. A little over 2 years after I bought it (so, outside of warranty) one of the "arms" that supports one of the lights broke internally and separated from the power pack. I taped it together with electrical tape. It continues to light, but it is difficult to train the light, and I will toss it as soon as I can get a new light. It won't be this light.

I have looked all over for a light that I could read comfortably in bed without any problems. I purchased the light clips that clip onto your book pages. I was very disappointed when I lay my head down on my pillow and the clip either continually fell off my book or else slipped out of place. This is the light you need and it's rechargeable, too. It comes with the recharging unit also. Each recharge last for a least 8 hrs. or more! This is the ONLY light you will ever need to read a book while laying your head on your pillow is here! It's the best at a great price and it's worth every penny!

I bought this one to replace the look-alike light  MyLight HL000001 HUGlight - LED Hands-Free Flexible Light  I had before, which recently stopped working. This one is different (and improved) in a few important ways.1) While the old huglight was ok when the batteries were brand new (or freshly recharged), it would quickly start to dim as the batteries lost charge. But the light on the CeSunlight is BRIGHT, and thus far it stays bright. I use this for night-time reading when I don't want to wake my husband. I have to be careful to keep it directed a bit away, or it would disturb his sleep, however the upside is that it completely lights up the pages.2) The CeSunlight has an integrated rechargeable battery. Just plug it in to charge using the provided cord. LOVE THIS. No more fussing with replacing AAAs.3) The flexibility is good, but feels sturdy. Really stays put once you adjust it how you like it.4) When you click, the CeSunlight adjusts the light as 1-spot light, 2-wide light, 3-spot + wide lights together, and 4-off. Each of these settings is distinctive - I like the wide setting best for nighttime reading. For the old Hug light, it adjusted to 1-dimmest light 2-brighter light 3- red colored light, 4-off. While the red light was nice to have as an option (red light does not disrupt night vision or circadian rhythms), the dimmest light was completely useless, and the brighter light was rarely bright enough.5) The hug light turns off automatically after a certain period of time (20 minutes maybe). The CeSunlight won't turn itself off.

Bought this for hubby to read in bed and he loves it, the pendant lights just didn't cut it.
