Suzuki Violin School, Vol 1

I love listening to this music. It works very well with helping to wnsure that I'm playing the notes of my violin correctly.

This is a nice beginner book and used in conjunction with the cd, it's a nice tool for teaching beginner violin. The violin music on cd is very fast, but if played often in the car, for example, gives it more value as a teaching method.

He enjoyed being able to hear the songs that he was supposed to be playing from the book. It is nice to learn to play something then to be able to play along with the CD to see if you did it correctly. It is quite fun actually. I highly recommend this and the price can't be beat!

Just starting the Suzuki process, but this disc is great. We like listening in the car and seeing the name of the piece on the display is great. It would also be great if the display also included the composer name.

I have an 8 year old and a 5 year old who have been taking violin for 2 1/2 years. (we lost our first CD, and had to purchase a new one) Listening to the Suzuki songs they are learning to play is an important part of helping them learn to play their songs. We listen to this CD almost daily, and now we get to listen to volume 2 as well. The songs are beautiful, and the quality of the recording sounds perfect to me. However, I really wish this CD included a violinist playing the songs at a slow 'practice' speed. That would be so helpful as they are first learning the song. You can look up songs played at a slower speed on youtube, but it would be so nice if they could just be included on the CD. If your child is taking Suzuki Violin, the CDs are an absolute must. Listening is a very important part of the Suzuki method. Good luck on your Suzuki Violin journey!!!

My child was eager to read and practice when it arrived in the mail. Everyday she practices and everyday she gets better and better and going as far as to experiment with different compositions of her own. This was a really good deal. Thank you.

I like listening to the CD but too fast for a 4 year old beginner.

Good cd and well played by.. I forget his name.. anyone doing book 1 should get this version

I don’t recommend this at all. It was a waste of money.
