I was using shallow troughs and wasting sooooo much feed. It was ridiculous. My husband suggested I get a feeder and this is the one I chose.I have bantam chickens so they are smaller, and when I got the feeder I was worried their little necks wouldn't reach. I was also worried they wouldn't "get" that food was in there but there are instructions to show them where the food is.They can reach the food just fine and it is adorable watching their floofy butts waggle as they eat.

Its definitely weather proof. When hosing down my coop the feed stayed dry but it doesn't fil in the food at the bottom like it should I thought my hens ate it all and when I took the lid off, there was plenty there. I had to shake it rather hard to get the pellets to fall correctly. Its not bad but not what I expected so I returned it.

Great, no waste feeder. I live in rainy Oregon and the food stays dry on rainy days. I totally recommend this feeder. I use crumbles. Silkies and wyandottes fit wonderfully. Love this brand. Made in USA.

I liked that you could hang it different ways or place it on a few bricks or pavers. Came with all hardware. Love this feeder

I returned this one and ordered a larger one. I love all there products I got.

We receive this product in great shape and we really like this idea to cut food wastes- but does this product only work with crumbles? The food we use does not drop down. The chickens stop eating since the food does not drop. Is this a defect? What can we do to use this in a great way.

Received this yesterday, and this IMO, is the best feeder I've ever owned. My other feeders waisted so much food, this, hardly any waste at all, chickens love it! Works great for my small flock. Highly recommend!

Chickens have no problems eating out of this feeder. It's waterproof and durable. Much less wasted food with no mess.I have not hung this feeder only put on the ground or stand. Comfortable handle and easy to fill. I will be looking at other products from this company in the future.
