I have used this product on my boat T- Top and found it very effective - especially after two applications. Just treated my golf bag, surf fishing bags, HOKA sneakers and all of my backpacks. Anticipate the same level of water and dirt protection. It does make the material a little darker, might yellow white soles on sneakers and be sure to wipe off excess spray on zippers/plastic/etc… Follow the directions on the can and you should find this to be a useful product. I bought this for a new 2 person tent and one bottle was the perfect amount for that. I sprayed all the seams first, then the entire tent exterior. It dried quickly, and sure enough that night it rained (my first time using the tent). Not a single drop of water got inside. Would definitely recommend. I have a 10 person tent I'm going to do next and estimate that will take at least 2 bottles.
