Low carb for sugar level control
Both of my parents are diagnosed with diabetes. So I wanted to get rid of my old traditional rice cooker and wanting to try to low crab rice cooker. It’s have a nice and elegant design and it’s just the right size for my parents. I used regular white rice to cook according to the manual. I would say it taste much better and more fluffy. However as brown rice it isn’t that fluffy. My parents haven’t have white rice for long time. This rice cooker allow them to control their sugar level. It’s easy to use, also like the fact it have eight different program setting plus delay timer. I would set the timer in the morning so the rice would be ready in the evening when they get off work. It’s only 5.5 cups, but for make carb rice it’s recommended for 2 cups only, so it’s not suitable for a big family. It is easy to remove the parts within the cooker for cleaning. Just wipe it clean and put it back. It has non stock inner pot so it’s great for just regular rice cooking since it use induction heating and fuzzy logic which make the rice taste better. If you are use to old fashion rice cooker so give it a few try with the sugar removing metal tray, then it will work like a charm.

Makes a huge difference
So I bought this back in October 2025 and have been using it for over a year now. At first, I did not like the texture of the rice after cooking on the low carb method. The rice felt like it was partially uncooked, harder and firmer than how I eat my rice. But the low carb did make a difference, causing no inflammation (always happens when I eat rice). I finally figured out if I cook the rice twice, it comes out way fluffier and doubles in size. It does take longer to cook it twice but makes it just the way if I cooked it in a regular rice cooker. Im all for eating less carbs and this rice cooker definitely is a must if you love rice and dont want the extra carbs.

Attractive, well-made piece of kitchen equipment
In addition to this Toshiba rice cooker, over the past 25 years we have had two zojirushi "fuzzy logic" (as they used to be called) models (all from amazon). All claim to balance cooking time to rice/water so you get perfect results every time, and all have worked pretty well (family of chronic estimators when it comes to weights and measures!) The first Zojirushi lasted twice as long as the second one, but they both lasted multiple years so can't complain. This year, we wanted to try a model with the carb-reducing technology, and this Toshiba model had that, plus all the zojirushi abilities, at a lower price point. I should add that we briefly tried, and returned, the more popular but super-pricey Cuckoo model as not being good value for money. We are very happy with this Toshiba brand. Rice comes out perfectly regardless of the setting. It counts down in minutes from when you press the start button (Zojirushis only showed minutes for last ten minutes). Carb-reduced rice takes longer but tastes great. The steam function is new. It doesn't keep the rice warm quite as well as the Zojiruishi's in that it's a tad dryer in the Toshiba. That's not a big concern for us because most of it gets eaten and what doesn't is eaten for lunch the next day, but if you want to keep rice warm for a long time, this might not be the best one for that. It feels well constructed, it opens and closes with a satisfying thunk, the metal basket for steaming and carb reduction is not thin (as on other models) and the machine itself is that shiny kind of white I associate with sci-fi films like WALL-E (it reminds me of Eve from that film, so I've named it). Overall, highly recommended.

Great but flawed
Excellent rice cooker with a flaw. The low carb insert cooked rice very fluffy and pretty close to perfect but they should of made the insert with a silicone seal so it doesn't scratch up the inner regular rice cooking titanium pan. I don't know how deep the scratches are. It appears to have a clear coating on it that is scratching first. I don't know how toxic it could get Usually I throw out any cookware that has scratches or I will buy the insert if it's not more than 50% of the rice cooker bit Toshiba it appears does not sell nor does their link work on the website..... the regular rice cooking portion is as good as any rice cooker/warmer, just like tiger or zojirushi. The low carb one would of been a homerun had they just put a seal to protect the pan from scratches. Too bad because it's probably the best rice I've ever had... It even makes the best leftover rice for fried rice cooled in fridge... This was my only hesitation when I first thought about buying it and it came true, it's scratching. It's not Teflon deep scratches yet but maybe I will develop. Who knows maybe the rice is so good it's worth buying one every 6 months. Or just buy a 2nd one and just use one pan for regular rice and the other for low carb and hope for no toxins.

Good rice,good feeling.
Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker – Very Highly Recommended I’ve been using the Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker, and it has been extremely helpful for anyone looking to reduce carbohydrate intake and better manage blood sugar levels. • Lower carbs, better control: The low-carb cooking method removes excess starch, helping prevent sharp blood sugar spikes. • Great-tasting rice: The rice comes out soft, fluffy, and flavorful — it doesn’t feel like “diet food” at all. • Easy to use: Simple one-button operation with consistent results every time. • Easy to clean: Removable inner parts make cleaning quick and hassle-free. For anyone who wants to eat rice more mindfully while maintaining good health, I very highly recommend the Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker. It’s a small change in how you cook rice, but it can make a big difference in long-term health.

Be aware!
I used this item about 1.5 months for low carb rice cooker. Everything is working fine, but last night I saw some thin metal coating peeling off at the bottom of inner pot! It will affect human’s health if we keep on using it in this condition. Be aware and not recommend.

Exceed my expectations
I recently purchased the Toshiba low-carb rice cooker, which has been a game-changer for my daily diet. I've been using it for almost a month now, and I must tell that I'm pretty impressed. The low-carb functionality distinguishes it from other rice cookers on the market. The cooking procedure is basic and straightforward. The rice cooker comes with clear instructions, making it simple to use. This rice cooker produces excellent rice. The rice is fluffy, perfectly cooked, and has the right texture in the low-carb mode, which helps me keep a healthier lifestyle. The rice cooker's design is sleek and modern, making it a fantastic addition to any kitchen. The size is ideal for a small family, and the titanium nonstick inner pot seems and feels very premium. But in stainless steel for low-carb mode, you would find the rice sticks if you aren't using the warm feature. I suggest you transfer all the rice to a nonstick pot after cooking with stainless steel. Overall, I would strongly recommend the Toshiba low-carb rice cooker to anyone searching for a high-quality rice cooker with unique features. It has exceeded my expectations, and I am convinced that it will also exceed yours.

GLP-1 diet game changer rice cooker
I purchased the TOSHIBA Induction Heating Low Carb Rice Cooker as part of my a healthy lifestyle change when my doctor started me on GLP-1 as part of a prediabetic treatment. After doing some research I came across the advantages of cooking with Induction for diabetics as well as the advantages of switching to Carolina Gold preboiled rice. The technology of induction heating means the cooker can make precise, instantaneous temperature adjustments, which is exactly what you need to cook parboiled grain perfectly without making it mushy or stripping away its structure while maintaining the fantastic flavor of the rice. Pairing that cooker's advanced low-carb, low-sugar digital technology with your lower-glycemic Carolina Gold rice is an absolute masterclass in managing your nutrition while your living a GLP-1 lifestyle. The TOSHIBA Rice Cooker Induction rice cooker is by far the best rice cooker I've owned. I highly recommend it.

MAGNIFICA COMPRA ....
