Ended up purchasing another after we put up the first one. Works well and easy to control with your smart home device. Looks amazing too.

The fan is in my bedroom. The lowest speeds are great for sleeping. Most of the time I can't hear the fan motor, but early in the morning, I can start to hear the gentle swoosh of the motor. It isn't enough to bother me, but it isn't silent either. Customer service is excellent. Within two weeks of purchase a random clicking sound developed. I tightened everything to make sure it wasn't the blades or balance issues. Suspecting the bearings, I called customer service. They agreed it was the bearings and shipped a new motor right away. It was very easy to re-install. My only complaint was that I had to re-connect the internet, apps, and Alexa skill.

I will start by saying, I really like this fan. In fact, this review is being written for the second we have purchased. I hope the manufacturer reads some of these reviews, because this was written also for them. The app and the remote control a very quirky. I'll start with the remote. When I first got the fan connected to WiFi, the app and the remote were not in sync. Fan speed, light brightness, etc. I worked that out. The other odd thing about the remote is, often times when I press the button to turn ON the lights, it comes on and immediately turns back off. I often have to press it 2 or even 3 times. Same thing happens when pushing that button to turn the light OFF. It often times takes 2 to 3 tries. The app isn't as problematic. Like I said, it sometimes gets out of sync with the remote. It also often complains about the Wifi connection/signal. Even though the WiFi router is only about 15' away, and other WiFi devices in that room are fine with the WiFi. Probably the strangest thing about this fan is getting it connected to WiFi. The instructions say to turn off, and then on, the circuit breaker for that circuit at the breaker panel. No joke! It works. But that is very strange. As far as the fan; at high speed it is whisper quiet. Over time the mid-level speeds developed a slight hum. Not a big problem. The fan, at high speed, pushed a lot of air! Which is nice. And the thing I like most about this fan is the look. It just looks really nice, over all, but I really like the look of not having pull chains. Also, being a low voltage DC fan motor is also nice. Uses less electricity. Their support is good also. I would buy another one. Sorry, it just has too many oddities to give it 5 stars.

I went back and forth with choosing another AC motor fan or a DC motor fan. I opted to try DC for the first time and am glad I did. Installation was typical for an overhead fan but some may not find it so easy unless you have a couple of installations under your belt. Very well packaged and organized. The only tip I would give is to retain the 3 small screws taken from the protective cover that was used in packaging the motor. You will need them later. Other than that, very straightforward assembly. The remote works well and provides full control. The Android app was a challenge to get it communicating with the fan, but after 2 or 3 tries, it suddenly worked perfectly. The Android app does not have any advantage over the remote that comes with the fan except turning on and off the fan light from anywhere in the world.

I bought this fan last summer and was very happy with it. The fan is quiet and moves air very effectively. The light is adjustable LED and a nice added feature that I didn't think I would use, but I do. One of the "must have" features was the remote control which included the ability to reverse fan direction since the fan is high in my living room. So all well and good until a lightning strike close to my house this summer takes out the fan. I called customer service. They answered the phone without a long hold time and walked me through the process of figuring out that the circuit board was the most likely problem. They mailed a new circuit board and I got it within 3 days. The electrician came, replaced the board, and the fan still didn't work. He confirmed there was power to the fan, but the transformer (adapter) wasn't working. Another email to customer service and the part was in the mail that day. This morning the electrician put the new adapter in and the fan works. I was not charged for any of the parts. So once again, this is a great fan but the CUSTOMER SERVICE is better than I have ever gotten from an item purchased on Amazon.

I’ve turned off my breaker 100 times and reassembled and disassembled this fan 100 more times but the remote will not pair. Save yourself some trouble and order another fan. I ordered this for smart home integration but unless they help me fix this remote pairing which is REQUIRED I will be leaving this 1 star review.

I'd like to give this fan 5 stars. I love the remote control and the app. I love the "nature" setting of the fan, and how quietly it operates. I love the way the fan looks, and I like the options with the light. It was super-simple to install, and the instructions were clear. HOWEVER - I've already had to return one of these units because the fan randomly stopped working about two weeks after I installed it. The lights still worked, but the fan didn't. Wouldn't respond to commands from the remote, or the phone app. We're not talking heavy use, either - maybe a couple hours a day, on average. The replacement unit just did the same thing - the fan stopped working about three weeks after I installed it. However, this time I thought - let me see what will happen if I turn off the power and turn it back on. Not a big deal for this fan, since the only other thing on that circuit is a little used bathroom. Sure enough - once I turned the circuit breaker back on, the fan resumed full functionality. I have another one of these still in the box that I plan to install in a bedroom. That shares a circuit with a lot of other stuff, so I may install this one differently. You'll note in the Q&A that the seller says NOT to install a switch with the fan, it may damage it. Well, I think I'll install a switch just so I have a way to reset the power to the fan without having to turn off an entire circuit. So, while there is a lot of good things about this fan, it simply isn't reliable, so I can't give it more than 3 stars.

An electrical technician friend helped me install this fan, after removing the old one. It took just over an hour, including the removal. It's whisper quiet, with 10 speeds for the fan itself and several options for illumination, from soft yellowish to intensely bright white. After pairing the remote control and trying it out, I attempted to pair with my iPhone. However, my wifi is not 2.4 ghz, so that didn't work. That's fine with me. The fan + remote are all I really need. This is a really nice fan, which does exactly what I expected it would.
