World Renowned Sarawak Black Peppercorns, Imported Direct from Malaysia (200g)

What I received came directly from the Malaysian Pepper Board so I'm confident that it is real and fresh Sarawak peppercorns. Sarawak is one of about five of the most prized peppercorns in the world. While I won't say the difference is night and day between Sarawak, Kampot or Penja and a basic peppercorn from Vietnam (the largest exporter in the world,) the most prized ones do have excellent taste and aroma. I'll be in Malaysia (but not on the island of Borneo where Sarawak is located) in two months and I'm anxious to see the pricing there. If you are going to get a superior peppercorn, be sure you have a superior pepper mill to go along with it for the proper experience. You may even want to host a pepper tasting one afternoon while the ladies are having thier afternoon tea and pastries.

One of the robust and flavorful peppers I have found. This is my second time ordering this product and it won't be my last. It is the perfect size that will be used before it goes stale/less fresh and loses it's "oomph"

Excellent flavor

One year, for a holiday gift, I received a small bag of Sarawak pepper from a spice company. Nearly ever time I seasoned something for the next couple of years I had a "wow" moment. I just didn't know pepper could taste that good. I was really hoping to recapture that with this splurge purchase. I even got a new grinder to make sure I could control the grind. It's good, but doesn't strike me as that different from other peppercorns, and at least for me, not worth the high cost. Maybe it's me, but just doesn't taste that special.

These little nuggets are the BOMB!!! Starting with their aroma and then the impact of flavor!!! Without a doubt, the best!!!!
