Bought this for Halloween makeup for my kiddos, and have ended up using it for SO many different events! I am so surprised at the quality of this palette -- the colors are incredible and stay so well, and blend very well with makeup. You can layer easily and achieve a variety of looks. It's also pretty easy to clean off and didn't stain, which was a big plus!

Great palette for special events. I purchased this for my Dia De Los Muertos Party and you can really tell it's a great professional pallet. Colors are highly pigmented and all you need is to dampen the pallet of color you are using to activate it and apply it to your face! Very simple to use with either a brush or sponge. Just dampen and use. Once you are done. It dries on its own, place it back in its box and put it away for next special event!

So happy with this product!! Only one shade is really light in pigment, but the shades mix into each other easily, so you could definitely make it a more vibrant color by just mixing it with a white or another bright warm tone. I wanted something with a large black and white that I wouldn't run out of first (since they'll be used the most) and this palette's B & W are nice and pigmented, barely need more than a drop of water!!

I have started doing face painting as a way to support my roller derby league, and I just needed a simple palette to do so. The colors are well pigmented and go on very smooth. I'm not a professional at all, but I was happy with these colors. Once it dries it doesn't smudge easily, but it comes right off with some water and soap. It also works okay with sponges. My only complaint is the paints are a little too close together, you can still use the sponges but it takes a bit of effort to avoid touching the surrounding colors. Overall, a good product for a good price!

The make up itself was good quality for the price. I went as a jester to the ren faire (outside in 80 degree weather all day pretty much) and it stuck on fairly well! (With primer and setting spray of course.) The colors are very vibrant. My main issue is how the product arrived. First of all, the inside was a bit of a mess (some splatter of the white and some scratches on the red). The thing I’m most upset about is the fact I ordered the $20 version that comes with brushes and stencils, and I ONLY got the make up palette. (Which I could’ve bought by itself for $15). So I had to run around to find make up brushes last minute. When I tried to contact Amazon customer support to have someone send me the missing parts of my order, they weren’t able to send the brushes and offered a return or replacement (neither of which I wanted due to needing the palette the next day). If you want this product, I advise you just get the pallet, since it seems like it’s a gamble on whether or not you’ll get the full set.

Very pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I bought the pallet that has both matte and metallic colors. Needed it for a clown makeup look on Halloween and also potentially for my kids birthday parties. Wanted to avoid the cheap, sticky Halloween kits I grew up with as they easily smear and feel awful/thick on the skin. I’m SO glad I bought this kit!! Can’t believe how good the quality is for the price and everything about it even the packaging is much cuter in person. The colors are water activated and dry immediately on the skin with a soft powdery matte feel. SO perfect for my sensory issue household. Pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation!! Can’t believe a powder color can be this bright while being so lightweight on the skin that you can’t feel it. Colors only smudge if you’re deliberately trying to smudge them and even then it’s difficult. Washes off easily. I will say the metallic colors need a second layer to pop as brightly as the non metallic but they’re so pretty on the skin that I’m not even mad about it. Seems like the water activation means this one pallet can be re used so so many times

I haven't worn it for my costume yet BUT after working with the pallet after receiving it, I can say it's as expected. The white did have some dust escape in transit as to be expected, but otherwise it's in perfect shape. I'm mainly posting this review because when researching pallets on this site I noticed most of the negative reviews on this were basically people who don't know how to use it while all the pictures showed exactly what you'd expect of the product. So here's an explanation of how I used it and how you should probably use it as an artist who loves using water colors the wrong way: I took the provided wide paint brush and dipped JUST THE TIP in water and began working the bristles into the white cake pan. It needed some more so I did that AGAIN for about 2 mins. I was able to activate the entire top layer with just that much water creating a thin glue looking layer that dried quickly and was buildable. You will apply one layer, continue mixing and immediately apply another. Different layers can have strokes going in different directions from each other BUT every layer must have the brushes strokes within it going the same direction. You will achieve opacity in literally like 3 layers but it will just feel like painting one solid layer honestly because of how quickly you can just apply it. You can do this with water color too, it effectively makes paint that's just not waterproof. If you use this like traditional water color however, you will get a watery streaky mess that doesn't dry. And if you for some reason don't use any water AT ALL like this is an eyeshadow pallet, you won't activate the binder to get the pigment. You do NOT need very much water for this, you're basically creating a paint from dehydrated paint. Please do not use this like water color OR NORMAL MAKEUP for your own sanity. 💀 Also disregard the negative reviews complaining about it being dry (like it's supposed to be) and it being watery/lacking pigment because they used it wrong with how much water they did or did not use. 😅

Hält super, schöne Deckkraft, einfache Anwendung. Geht super mit Wasser und Wattepad ab. Bei dunkleren Farben mit etwas Gesichtscreme und Wattepad.

Llegó perfecto, en su caja y protegido. Lo compre para Halloween y actividades de mi peque. Excelente calidad de todo lo que viene en el paquete. Tal vez para un super pro no es tan bueno pero para una usuaria normal, es excelente. Hay que dejar un momento después de mojar para que se active y después tiene muy buena cobertura que puede aumentar con las pasadas. Es solo agarrarle el truco. Una vez seco dura mucho pero usualmente uso fijador de maquillaje. Algunos colores dejan rastro. Todo se arregla con desmaquillante. Negro y blanco fueron los más difíciles de agarrarle la onda pero al final tienen muy buena cobertura. Me encantó.

Easy to use and mix colours, covered skin well and can be layered if layers are allowed to dry. I was able to get some fine details using a fine brush and cover larger areas with a bigger brush or sponge. Once dry it didn’t rub off and was easy to wash off with soap and water
