Speck Products CandyShell Grip iPhone 8 Case, Also fits iPhone 7/6S/6 - White/Black

I replaced my old cover on my IPhone 8 that I had bought at VZ when I purchased my phone, Fist mistake. Great phone, the case though expensive didn’t hold up very well. This one looks almost just like it at a fraction of the cost especially at Amazon Warehouse. Fits perfectly and has the grippy back that helps it not slip out of your hand.

This is a perfect fit for an iPhone SE. The "red" is more of a dark "orangey" color, and the corners seem a bit too stiff to offer much in the way of shock protection (yet obviously far better than no case), but it does the job otherwise. It is reasonably easy to slip on the phone, and the grip is excellent--it won't slide out of your hands or a pocket easily.

I've literally dropped a phone down an elevator shaft and it came out fine because of the Speck case. So, I'll never go with anything else. With an iPhone, the little lip does tend to wear out and rip eventually, but I don't think that's anything to do with craftsmanship. I dropkick this phone on cement at least monthly, so I've only awesome things to say about this brand and case. Get one. It's worth the couple extra $$'s.

I've used this brand of phone case for every phone I've had- it not only looks good, is priced well, but it is very functional-the material it's made of makes it easy to hold on to my phone with it's slightly grippy surface. No matter how many times I've changed phones, I keep buying the Speck Candyshell grip cases.

I’ve had a Speck case before and it lasted a long time. Outside of it is nicely ribbed for a great grip. Should also provide great protection in case I have a clumsy moment and drop the phone.

Have used this model case many years,Samsung- Iphone..Speck really needs to make one for just the Iphone SE- 8 ,2020 etc. . .Weak spot is the bottom ear phn. jk. hole, that the SE doesn't need.So this case fits at least 3 different phs..Speck Candy has little harder shell which helps bottom stay put better.Have tried some of the softer cases, Speck and others, ones w/jack hole tear quicker, when pulling from pocket or holster. Grip on this case is excellent, W/O a stand just lean against something on bottom or side. Great protection for phone, nice size ridge around screen in case of face plant. Supply low right now. I had a Speck case for my old iPhone, lasted for years. so bought one for my new-to-me iPhone 8. unfortunately this case also fits other phones (same form factor) and unfortuate cause the 8 does not have a headphone jack...but the case is built for a phone that does. this creates a very weak point along the bottom where the speaker notch is expanded with a circular area, leaving only the very edge of the rubber case in that area. had it about a month, and it's still in place, but invariably I catch end up grabbing this exact spot when pulling out of my pocket and can feel it stretch. am sure that narrow piece of rubber will give out soon. Otherwise, love the grippiness of this case, which is why I bought Speck again.

I drop my phone a good bit, and this is my second Speck Candyshell, the first one came apart eventually around the buttons,and speaker/charging port holes where its thinner. I'd say this one will last 18 months or so too.Bought for an iPhone 6, but pleasantly surprised to discover my iPhone 8 is almost identical externally, so it fits perfectly. It does grip really well, clicking satisfyingly in place; there's no danger it'd slip off. Getting it off to fit into something else or onto a stand would definitely shorten its life though.My iPhone 6 did die of water exposure last night while in this, in a flexible armband during some bad rain, as it's not really water resistant, and I had the phone arse to the sky so to speak, holes pointing at the rain.

I’ve just purchased my 2nd one of this after 3 years of wear and tear, numerous drops which would have otherwise resulted in a smashed screen and my phone has lasted the test of time. It’s the best protection for your phone. I even bought one for my husband who is renowned for smashing his phone within days, even his phone is still in mint condition 3 years later. Amazing. What more can I say.

Such a shame that these are not available for the newer iPhone models. They feel great and protect well. Highly recommended.

Good grip. Looks well from the back.Looks cheap from the front.Hard. Bright red and plastic.Undermines the appearance of a sophisticated phone.Probably suit a teenager.
