Blenko Catalogs Then & Now: 1959-1961, 1984-2001 (Schiffer Book for Collectors)

I bought this to use as a reference when I go shopping for treasure. I am a beginning collector of new Blenko.

Excellent pictures and good, brief descriptions.

I ordered this book thinking my glass was Blenko. Although it was not, this book is a great source for anyone who thrifts, garage sales, etc. as it shows you what to look for on this much sought after collectible glass.

Just what I needed to help me identify Blenko Glass.

This is a reprint of past catalogs rather than an exhaustive description of each design and colorso it isn't as helpful as it could be. There are 2 other books in this set covering the gap yearsbut i am betting all i would get from them is pics of what was being sold. Other information like heightsand colors which are the identifying information are only randomly included as they were in theseoriginal catalogs. Collectors would really like more information. Not sure i want to splurge forthe entire set but haven't found another source of information other than small bits on the web.

Wonderful compilation of Blenko through the years. The pictures are great too. Love that it is in color pictures too.
