I have never put this on my face . I use unscented creams on my face . I love this product tho

Q: What is the smell like?

This lotion has a terrific scent! me sences can't tolerate strong perfumes or lotions so the one is perfect. The rose note is super mellow and the smell overall is strong when you first apply but then after a few seconds when dry becomes very light mix of the scents. Not greasy but moisturizing. I typically rub all over my hands before bed and before I leave my house to work. I have a tube of another scent with me during the day. Thymes lotions overall are very nice and worth paying a little more.
